Kelly Kamalelehua Smith, better known by her stage name Kelly Preston, was an American actress and model. She appeared in more than sixty television and film productions, most notably including Mischief, Twins, and Jerry Maguire. She was married to John Travolta, with whom she collaborated on the science fiction film Battlefield Earth and the biographical film Gotti. She also starred in the films The Cat in the Hat, What a Girl Wants, Broken Bridges and Old Dogs.
 
There is a saying that bad news comes in threes. As highlighted in the two posts above, Kelly Preston lost her battle with breast cancer, Naya Rivera drowned (her body was found this morning) and now Grant Imahara from MythBusters has died from brain aneurysm.

He was best known for his work on the television series MythBusters, in which he designed and built numerous robots that were needed for the show, and specialized in operating the various computers and electronics that were utilized to test myths.
While there, he focused as an animatronics model maker and worked on all three Star Wars prequels in addition to The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Galaxy Quest, Van Hesling, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.

John Robert Lewis was an American politician and civil rights leader. He was the U.S. Representative for Georgia's 5th congressional district from 1987 until his death in 2020. He was the dean of the Georgia congressional delegation. The district he served includes the northern three-fourths of Atlanta. He was a member of the Democratic Party.
 
I don't know if I would consider these people celebrities, but yesterday was the one year anniversary of the awful Kyoto Animation arson that killed 36 people and injured an additional 33. May they rest in peace.
What happened to the idiot that burned the building, now that I think about it?

For her contributions to the motion picture industry, de Havilland received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6762 Hollywood Boulevard on February 8, 1960.

Kamala

James Harris was an American professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Kamala. Nicknamed "The Ugandan Giant", Kamala portrayed a fearsome and simpleminded Ugandan who wrestled barefoot in war paint and a loincloth, and approached the ring wearing an African mask and carrying a spear and shield. He is best known for his appearances with the World Wrestling Federation in the mid-1980s and early 1990s.
