Just fyi, in my mind, all of the characters are insane.
05. father
In which Falkner and Janine learn that in other regions, there are some other characters with dads who are/were also gym leaders. They decide to secretly try and pit the dads against each other to see whose comes out on top.
None of them want to battle each other, so Falkner and Janine decide to use ninja surveillance tactics to try and deduce which of the fathers is superior. They proceed to spend a ridiculous amount of time documenting the battling strategies and daily routines of each one and attempt to try and deduce whose would win. Unfortunately, they realize aspects like type advantages, movesets, and variable party rosters would complicate things immensely. How they all trained their Pokemon was also different, too.
Ultimately, they realize that it doesn't matter whose dad is the best, because every one had something nice to offer and teach their children. Except maybe Giovanni or something. They decide to stop, acknowledging that they may have gone a bit overboard with this whole thing. At least they learned some neat battling techniques in the process?
Of course, they both still decide to rank their own dads as #1 and #2, but they still argue about whose dad is in which spot. Also, none of the other characters care even slightly about this, except them.
...This came about after I ended up counting more named dads/granddads in the games than moms/grandmas. I wonder why this is the case? Not just gym leaders, but in general too. Maybe I'm just missing a lot.
This reads like a really shitty fanfic or something.
--------
Also an addition to this:
-Roxanne with a fake nose and glasses.
-Brawly in one of those inflatable sumo outfits.
-Norman but he just gives trainers free badges because he's too tired to think of a good cosplay.
Maybe I'll attempt to actually draw this sometime.

01. AU where all the pokemon aren't real and they're just people in really bad cosplay fighting each other
