Does anyone here listen to Japanese music? Like, Jpop, Jrock, etc.?
I know I do! ^-^
I have a lot of artists I like. For example, [last name comes first] Otsuka Ai, Utada Hikaru, YUI, OLIVIA, Perfume, ZONE...and others too.
Anybody else like them or others?

I listen to a lot of it. :) I got interested in it back when I used to watch Sailor Moon on USA, lol. Anyway, I have a lot of anime soundtracks, as well as a sizeable collection of JPop and JRock. I prefer CDs, but I have a few MP3s as well.

My most notable group faves include WANDS, X-Japan, Two-Mix, Hayashibara Megumi, Elika, Zard, and J.A.M. Project (Pretty much anything with Kageyama Hironobu).

Well, I`m not really obsessed with Japanese music, but I do listen to some of it. For example, um, Morning Musume. =) They`re songs are awesome! I also like GAM, Melon Kinenbi, Aya Matsuura & the H!P Kids groups.

Oh, I've heard of Morning Musume, and H!P before. I've listened to a few of their songs.
I haven't heard of any of Shuko's favorites though...maybe I'll check them out.

I forgot to mention mihimaru GT. I also like them. And ayaka is pretty good too. And well, technically, YounHa is Korean, but she sings both Jpop and Kpop, and I like her work in both languages. :D

I listen to a lot of Japanese music. I don't listen to as much of the pop as I use to but I'll still listen to Utada Hikaru and Koda Kumi, and my friend got me into Angela Aki... I'm still not really into the pop scene though.

On the other hand for rock I still listen to Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Straightener, Ellegarden, Doping Panda, the Pillows, and fake? (well, there is actually a lot more, it's just right now those are my favorites)

For JUrban, or what ever you want to call a mix of those groups, I listen to Crystal Kay, m-flo, Nami Amouro, Sowelu, and more.

I guess I keep saying "and more" because I listen to a lot, and I may be here all day trying to type people I like and listen to regularly.

I'm all into the JRock group Dir en Grey. They are like one of my favorite bands right now. I love their lyrics; they're so twisted :)

How can it be that no one has mentioned Porno Graffiti yet?

I've listened to so much J-pop and J-rock, that I can't remember the names of all the artists and bands off the top of my head. ^^;; My iPod, with the exception only of the Avenue Q and Spamalot soundtracks, is full of 20g or so of just Japanese tracks. ^^;;

I randomly like listening to enka once in a while. I just really like the sound.

I also like PUFFY and adore Myco's singing in the Full Moon wo Sagashite songs. ^^;

:p it's hard to picture Enka without picturing the jokes that go with it. I think both that and Kabuki would give me a hard time to initially stay serious to be polite.

(Especially Enka, just the word reminds me of Donpatchi)

I dunno, Porno Graffiti is ok, they are just sometimey for me, like Mr. Children. I like his rock-tone songs, but not the pop-tone ones.

My three favorites are B'z, Shakalabbits, and little by little. I also like Polysics, Do As Infinity, Yura Yura Teikoku, and Sambomaster, but I'm not really sure if I enjoy them as much as the first three bands I listed.

Ooh. I do! Well, I used to be really into having Ayumi Hamasaki's songs, and BoA's too, but then BoA is Korean, so I don't know if she counts? Then I also liked, and maybe still like somewhat of w-inds. Used to like L'Arc~en~Ciel, but my interest kind of died. Not to mention I lost track of their progress and whatnot.

Now? Mmm, I'm getting into JE, or Johnny's Entertainment. Namely, KAT-TUN. ♥ Kame! And starting to get more into NEWS, but still unfamiliar. I depend on a particular friend on my news for JE stuff.

But yeah, that's my little Japanese music interest right now.

I love J-pop! My favorite artist is Kokia. Her voice is so beautiful! In recent days, I've been obsessed with Morning Musume, and their songs are stuck in my head (it doesn't help that they're so catchy). I also like Otsuka Ai, BoA, Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, and many others that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

J-Pop and J-Rock whooo~

I love Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Ai Otsuka, AKFG, L'arc, JAM Project, Myco, PUFFY, Megumi Hayashibara, and Rica Matsumoto.

I listen to alot of stuff. Stuff being the keyword.

I'm a sucker for the following japanese artists:
Angela Aki, Yuna Ito, Utada Hikaru, Rie Fu. Ironically all those girls are bilingual XD They're in order of favorite to least favorite btw.

I also have been known to listen to Miyavi, X-Japan, anything from One Piece, Namie Amuro, etc.... but yeah, it's really scattered. <3

YAY! someone else listens to the pillows...I bought one of two/three of there CDs (if you count the FLCL soundtrack.) I don't have much more stuff other then them...I have a a lot of anime music (somehow I downloaded ALL of Ranma 1/2 music and then deleted some of it because it was too much.)

Oh crap... I forgot the pillows @_@ I have two of their CD's as well.

I don't really get much from groups, but I can manage to find songs.
My J-pop collection is:
3 different versions of the song "Asterisk", by Orange Range
"Thank you" and "Home Sweet Home" by Home Made Kazoku
"Happy People" by... okay, so I forgot who it was by.
"Yasashii Yoake" by another person I can't remember.
DAYS by yet another group I forgot
Shounen Heart, a similar story.
Fly Away... you know the drill by now.
Come, by So Crazy
Fukai Mori, by Do as Infinity
Hikari, Passion, Simple and Clean, Sanctuary, COLORS, Simple and Clean(Remixed by Russell Mcnamara), and Passion - A Story Neverending, all by Utada Hikaru.
Ready Steady Go!, by another guy I can't remember.
Hare Hare Yukai, by Hirano Aya; Chihara Minori; and Yoko Goto.
Seishun Kyousoukyoku, by Sambomaster
Speed, by Analog Fish
Wind, (i'm just not gonna say it anymore)
Haruka Kanata
Go!!!
Kimi no Soba de, by Grin
Mezase Pokemon Master, and OK!!! by Rica Matsumoto.

That's it though.

I tend to listen to J-Pop once in a while, but I really don't remember the artists. X_x I'm usually listening to K-Pop.

I listen to Japanese music sometimes but it's usually songs from animes, movies, and dramas that I watch.
