I wonder if there will be any trainers with Mega Pokemon in this raid battle; they recently added Mega Pokemon to Pokemon Go, and they have a game mechanic where using Mega Pokemon in Raid Battle gives everyone a boost in power

My thoughts after reading that title: "A Raid Battle against Zapdos? That's unexpected. Wonder why they would even have a Raid Battle against Zap... wait a second. Go got his Golurk in a Raid Battle. And, in a Raid Battle, they can have other trainers weaken a Pokémon for Go to make up for his and his Pokémon's lack of skill, experience and strength. Oh no. Please tell me this doesn't mean what I think it means. Please don't tell me that Go, of all people, is gonna catch a kriffing legendary! Please God, no! No!! Nough!!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOUGH!.jpg
"

On the bright side, we're not getting a hiatus with the show's time slot change like last time.

I'm hoping that Goh may use his Golurk in the battle, would be very useful against Zapdos given its immunity to Electric type moves

Maybe if Ash sees this, he can finally learn that ground types are immune to electric moves :sneaky:

While people are dreading Goh catching a Zapdos (which in itself is an entire problem of its own), there's another more immediate negative butterfly effect that comes about with this episode's reveal.

Ash vs. Bea rematch is going to be a single episode and might be a 1v1 or at best 2v2. Hopefully it's not too rushed.

The only way that I can accept Go catching Zapdos, is if it were a setup for Ash catching the Galarian version down the line...
Honestly? I'd rather Ash not get any legendary (much less get handed easy achievements) and proves himself through his own merits/skill/experience rather than go down a Tobias path, or even a Goh path for that matter.

You should be expecting that when it was stated that it was going to be the last episode on sunday. It's a shame but I think that a third match will happen.

It would be fun cause the lab with Zapdos will probably be blown to smitherens. Ahhh if this was reallistic.

Oh by the way:

Chance of Rocketness 70%

So there's the Zapdos from the preview.

There's also definitely going to be another battle with Bea(in Galar this time).
