What if Goh caught that monster but just keeps decaying in his Pocket?
Is there any alternative solution for that?

Ash becoming a dragon master makes perfect sense. Think about it. After being disappointed by Lance's performance against Leon, Ash becomes determined to take on his mantle and avenge him. Because Kanto is such an underrepresented region in the anime, he'll climb to the top of the PWC just to beat Leon. He'll finally give his region the spotlight it rightfully deserves!

His team? 6 Dragonites. Why stop at one when you can have a full party am I right?

Did you guys know that Lance actually lost to you in gen 2 because he had only 3 Dragonites? He clearly wasn’t committed enough to the craft since half of his team wasn’t even dragon type. I can’t wait to see Ash pick up his slack in Journeys and be the very best dragon master, like no one ever was.

The game character in the episode, Cara Liss, is an example of a Japanese pun name being translated into an English equivalent in order to make the joke still land. I love little touches like that.

If anything, Lance is actually more of a Flying-type specialist than a Dragon-type specialist, since while only half his team is Dragon (and a repeated species at that. Seriously, though, I never got why two of those Dragonites couldn't have been a Kingdra and a Tyranitar instead), all of it is Flying.

Goh can get Grookey. It will be nice for someone else to have all of the three starters for once.

Dracovish is one of the few Gen 8 Pokemon I like so I would love it if Ash caught it instead
 
Ash clearly works best with fire types! Just look at his starters and their evolutions...
If anything he should specialise in fire types.

Dracovish is clearly going to be a PotD. There’s a reason we haven’t even seen it yet. It hasn’t even been depicted in a more focused light than Arctozolt so far.

I was thinking it might be a Gou capture but even Gou doesn’t want the burden of the poor thing on his conscience.

I mean, Farfetch'd wasn't exactly the shining beacon of heavy promotion. Guy wasn't even caught in an ep that focused primarily on it.

They interchanged Sobble and Farfetch'd in promotion, but Farfetch'd was promoted for the main cast (in magazine scans) and spoiled in advance before the episode. We just didn’t know that it was Ash who'd get it since they showed Sobble with Ash and Gou with Farfetch'd.
 
pls not a goh episode... I care for nothing else and that will satisfy me no matter how dogsh** the episode is.
