Review JN056: Gampi of The Big Four! The Hall of Chivalry!!

Is he gonna use Scizor? Like ever? Does he even care about it?
Of course he does. He clearly cares about all of his Pokémon. That's his whole agenda: he gets closer to Pokémon and understands them better by catching them. And Scyther/Scizor is one of the first Pokémon he ever caught, so it's one he's had a lot of time time to get to understand.

Also, there's a perfectly good chance he'll still use it someday. The series is far from over.

How does he understand Pokemon by throwing them at a lab and never interacting with them and just giving them food? Like seriously they just tried to give a valid explanation in that ep but failed.
And I doubt Scizor will be used again. The last time it was used was in JN024 and it was only here to evolve

He no doubt interacts with all of his Pokémon off-screen. They're all his friends, and he treats them as such.

This series has proven to be unpredictable. Scizor could easily still see use someday.

Does he have a bond with Taillow or Kakuna? Does he care about Goldeen? Heck, even Jessie and Frillish and James and Amoonguss have a better bond and that's saying something. And even if Scizor gets use it will be around JN090-JN150. Heck where is Suicune? Does he even know that it is alive or dead? This is the first time a legendary is caught by a main characte rand we will never see it again wont we?

Never say never. And as I said, he interacts with all of his Pokémon, even if those interactions may happen off-screen.

The evolution scene itself was such a minor part of the episode how can anyone claim that it detracted from Ash when he and his bird still got the biggest chunk of the episode? People say the same about Goh's 10 second capture scenes and it makes absolutely no sense to me how people think that such insignificant scenes take anything away from Ash.
Things like a quick ten-second capture aren’t bad, and heck, I wish that was the occurrence. But then again, continuously capturing Pokemon for less than thirty seconds pissed people off to begin with, since he was a lucky ball-thrower, who never deserved his captures since he never battled the Pokemon.

When Ash fought Bea for the second time, Goh spent about two-three minutes on catching one Chinchou, and considering how rushed/short Riolu v Grapploct was...Goh got in the way, when there was no need to.
