This is a male Garchomp. Champion Cynthia's Garchomp is female. What makes you sure, just to ask?
Nope he definitely shouldn't lose. He just beat a champion and an elite 4 then losses?Paul should definitely win here. Ash really has nothing to gain from beating him again other than some redundant fanservice. The winning streak he's currently on might run the risk of making him overconfident, so a loss now would be sobering and help mentally prepare him for what will be the greatest challenge he's ever faced. Ash's previous victory over Paul was wonderful and cathartic, however it was always his losses to Paul that acted as his greatest catalyst for growth. Paul should serve that same purpose now, imparting Ash with some important lesson or piece of advice to carry with him through upcoming fight.
Also Ash and Paul are nearly equals. There's no shame in Ash losing to him this time. That's the back-and-forth nature of a healthy rivalry where both trainers are constantly improving and learning from one another.
Could just be a scenario where Ash uses what he learned in this training battle against Paul's Garchomp against Cynthia's Garchomp assuming he battles her in the tournamentPaul should definitely win here. Infernape isn't involved, so it'll be fine.I am not very enthusiastic about this one.
Fearing that it may ruin the conclussion DP gave to Satoshi and Shinji.
