May is unlikely to even be at Wyndon. And even if she was, her VA issue means she'll likely not have any lines of dialogue.
But Ash has to tell the truth to May about Serena kissing him that appears and later we see that and Ash can't lie with May. Lying is bad and he decides to tell the truth.

How do we know?
It wouldn't make sense for Ash's involvement in the tournament end in the first round. So it's very unlikely he'll lose to Steven.

Why does he have to tell her about the kiss? I doubt it'd affect May's friendship with Ash in any way. May has never really shown any romantic feelings towards Ash. There's no lies being told by him not telling about that moment to anyone.
