Preview JN122: The Semifinals I: "Overwhelming Victory"

"Overwhelming Victory" pretty much confirms another curbstomp, except Diantha gets a full episode to get curbstomped.

The last magazine scan said Diantha will force Leon to bring out more than 2 pokemon, so she's not going to do as badly
Bring out, yes. Lose more than one? Questionable.

It just says Leon made it through the first round without bringing out a third Pokemon.

It's more or less implied, "Leon will show more than 2 pokemon this time" which I doubt they'll say that otherwise. Leon doesn't strike me of just switching out his pokemon for the hell of it.

I highly doubt they'd give away the outcome of a tournament through a soundtrack release.
Good odds the song will be connected to him having concern over getting there rather than playing after Cynthia beats him.

I mean setting Leon up as Ash's goal only for him to actually battle an NPC is honestly not the weirdest thing the show would have done, but...

Edit: Also we had that whole "he's going to fight the ultimate battle" from an interview. That pretty much demands Leon because Leon is the top trainer in the world.

Cocky Ash isn't going to suddenly doubt himself. Everyone around him is making him feel invincible.

The fact that they're using the break for Chloe episodes instead of training says a lot.

So... with the Miracle of evolution confirmed to be a clipshow and not an actual episode, doesn't that make this episode 120. Or are we getting another episode in-between them (If so, most likely focusing on Goh having a catching spree in Galar).
