Bulbagarden x Catch a Million to Conquer Kids' Cancer
St Baldrick's Foundation are once again challenging the Pokémon streaming community to a collectively catch 1 million Pokémon, and in the process help them raise $100,000 to fund childhood cancer research. Any and all streamers, big or small, with any appreciation whatsoever for Pokémon, are invited to participate in the event between April 23rd and April 30th, and help the foundation reach its fundraising goal, with prizes on offer from Logitech and LF Gaming for the biggest individual and community fundraisers.

This year's event will see participating streamers split into four competing teams, with Let's Do This Streamers, and the Pokémon Center, and Pokémon GO Raids Discord Communities joining Bulbagarden as Team Captains for the event. You can find Bulbagarden's own Tiltify campaign for the event here. As of writing, a total of 17 different streamers and communities, including Bulbagarden, have already launched their Tiltify campaigns for the event.

Top Fundraiser Reward
Logitech and LF Gaming have partnered with the event to provide prizes for donor participants in the United States. The top US-based fundraiser for the event will be taking home a Scepter Gaming Chair (valued at $USD 1,195) from LF Gaming, while three runners-up will each take home a Logitech Creator Bundle (valued at $USD 1,159) including a PRO X Superlight, PRO X Keyboard, PRO X Wireless Headset, StreamCam, Blue Sona Broadcast Microphone, an G840 XL Gaming Mouse Pad, and a Litra Glow Premium LED Streaming Light. More than two dozen Logitech community bundles will also be given away to donors during the event, with each including a G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse, G213 PRODIGY RGB Gaming Keyboard, and G435 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Headset.

Runner Up Bundles
Whereas last year's event required creators to be streaming on Twitch, this year's event will be making use of a special app that can integrate with both Twitch and YouTube streams. As long as participating streamers are livestreaming on either platform with the tracker running, the app will track their every Pokémon capture they make during the fundraiser, with captures across all generations of Pokémon games counting toward the million-Pokémon goal. Live updates of captures will be provided on CatchAMillion.com.

All streamers interested in participating in the event will need to:
  1. Register on catchamillion.com to get access to the app and contribute towards the goal.
  2. Go to the official Catch a Million 2023 campaign on the Tiltify fundraising platform, and then create their own linked fundraiser connected to their Twitch and/or YouTube channels
  3. Sign up to the official Discord server for creators taking part in the event (the link will be in your Tiltify confirmation email for the campaign).
More information on how the teams will work, and on how individual participating streamers can link their own personal campaigns to a particular team are expected to be released over the coming week.

The 2022 Catch a Million event raised $39,170.47, with more than 50 creators, including Bulbagarden's own Twitch team, taking part.
