So? A lot of dragons have different elemental abilities.
In fact, dragons having fire or ice elemental abilities is far, far more common than dragons with electric elemental abilities. If anything, Blue-Eyes is the odd one out on that one.

Considering the fact that it literally has blue eyes and is white, it’s more of a Blue-Eyes White Dragon than the so-called Blue-Eyes White Dragon on your goofy trading cards.

Two different franchises, two different methods for determining power.

Yeah I know:
300 atk is considered extremely weak in Yu-Gi-Oh, but I'm fairly certain having an atk stat of 300 is quite strong in Pokémon.

...My point is, the average Pokémon couldn't take on a Kuriboh, which is specifically stated to be the single weakest Duel Monster during the early series (since then, several with 0 atk/0 def have been created, along with a multitude of Kuriboh varients, but that's beside the point).

You'd have to scale the stats proportionately.
300 attack would be incredibly powerful for a Pokemon.

Heck, Zekrom's 150 Attack stat is pretty high. Not the highest, but still very high.

Maybe dividing all Yu-Gi-Oh! attacks by twenty to scale them?
-Kuriboh's attack stat would be 15, which definitely fits the bill of incredibly weak
-Blue-Eyes would have 150, being the same as Zekrom. Considering they're both legendary dragons that fight with lightning, it seems pretty accurate

This is before considering whether they'd have higher special or physical attack.

Yes, the other major problem is that Pokemon's stats are distributed differently.

Attack, Special Attack, and Speed are all offensive stats, and Speed is completely irrelevant to Yu-Gi-Oh!
Meanwhile HP, Defense, and Special Defense are all defensive stats, with HP being irrelevant in Yu-Gi-Oh!

True, speed and HP are completely nonexistent in Yu-Gi-Oh!, and there's no special vs physical.

Trying to calculate whether Blue-Eyes White Dragon is stronger than Zekrom would be extremely difficult.
