Latios, Azelf, and Cobalion
Pokémon Masters EX is throwing down the gauntlet to trainers once more, with the Legendary Gauntlet returning until February 23rd. Players finding themselves without the proper sync pairs to take on the Gauntlet will be able to take advantage of two new Scouts that are launching alongside this event, featuring a variety of Sync Pairs suited to these particular challenges. The developers have also issued a notice regarding a current issue preventing players from completing Battle Rallies.

Epic Battle Event: Legendary Gauntlet
3 powerful opponents arrive in Pokémon Masters EX with the return of the Legendary Gauntlet. Functioning the same as past Legendary Gauntlets, players will use the sync pairs they have raised to battle through Latios, Azelf, and Cobalion's Legendary Arena battles in succession. Players can use as many sync pairs as needed to complete these stages and rack up as many wins as possible. Once a sync pair has been taken into battle, however, they can't be used again regardless of the battle's outcome. Players can earn a variety of rewards by hitting certain win streak milestones, including BP Points, Move Candy Coins, a Guaranteed Lucky Cookie 13, and 1★-3★ Deluxe Lucky Cookies. This run of the Legendary Gauntlet will remain available until February 23rd, at 9:59pm (PST).
  • Latios is weak to Dragon-type moves while on its first and second HP bars, and weak to Ice-type moves while on its third. Latios is also joined by Dragonite and Salamence which are weak to Dragon-type moves. While on its second and third HP bar, Latios will have the Defense Crush 9 and Mind Games 9 Passive Skill which always lower it's target's defenses for every successful hit. Latios last appeared in the 11th Legendary Gauntlet, held across October last year.
  • Azelf is weak to Bug-type moves. Azelf also has passive skills that greatly reduce physical damage it takes during the first 50% of each HP bar and special damage during the second 50%, with these extending to sync moves while on Azelf's third bar. On the very hard difficulty and while the third HP bar, Azelf will have the Piercing Gaze passive skill which allows its moves to always hit. Azelf last appeared in the 9th Legendary Gauntlet, held across May and June 2023.
  • Cobalion is weak to Fire-type moves. Cobalion is resistant to all damage thanks to the Healthy Advantage 8 passive skill. This protection can be negated by inflicting Cobalion with a status condition, although its resistance to any status condition increases each time Cobalion recovers from one, until it becomes immune. Cobalion last appeared in the 9th Legendary Gauntlet, held across May and June 2023.
5★-Select Type Scout
New Scout Banners
Two new scout banners have started today alongside the launch of the latest Legendary Gauntlet, each providing trainers suitable to take into battle against Pokémon featured in the gauntlet. Both of these scouts will be available until February 16th, at 9:59pm (PST).

5★-Select Type Scout
In this 5★-Select Type Scout featuring only Dragon-, Ice-, Fire- and Bug-Type Sync Pairs, players can spend 2,000 paid gems to receive an 11x Scout, as well as an additional bonus selection of a 5★ Sync Pair from the limited pool. This scout can be used up to 3 times during the scouting period.

Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout
Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout
5★ Sygna Suit Brendan & Latios, 5★ Sygna Suit Red & Snorlax, and 5★ Alder & Volcarona are returning in a Triple Feature Poké Fair Scout. As usual, 5★ Sync Pairs will have a 10% chance of appearing in this Poké Fair Scout, with the featured pairs having a higher chance of appearing than other pairs. The scout also includes a daily discount, where players can perform a single scout for x100 paid gems. Each daily discount can be used 1 time per day during the entire length of the scout.

In conjunction with this scout, Sygna Suit Brendan & Latios are receiving new Fair-Exclusive Sync Pair Tiles on their Sync Grid. These tiles are unlocked when their move levels are increased to 2, 4, or 5.

Battle Rally Bug
The developers issued a notice earlier today acknowledging an issue where, if Type Gear that is equipped to a player's Battle Rally team is exchanged or used to upgrade other Type Gear, the player will be unable to return to the Battle Rally. The developers have requested players be careful to not attempt to exchange or upgrade Type Gear on Battle Rally teams until this issue is resolve. Players who are unable to return to the Battle Rally as a result of this issue have been directed to contact the game's support staff via Inquiries in-game.
