Or a different form malamar or a new pokemon.

I honestly find it kind of suspicious that the photos of the g-max forms are super clear, yet the starter pages are blurry. They also don't look like artworks of the starters but rather 3D models pasted into the book which is odd.

I don't think that is real. Look at the boat section: the part where the boat and sludge meets looks unnaturally straight and clean, and the wind-up part (not certain what it's called) is not interacting with the sludge. You can actually see the black part clipping over the sludge.

I'm also skeptical of the Intelleon leak. What's the source?

Yeah, the smaller drawing next to it does look like it might be a less sinister version of Malamar... Psychic/Fairy Galarian Form..? :O
It also means that Galarian Forms could get Giganta Max forms... I really hate thinking this, but if Megas died for this... I might be fine... Maybe if they bring them back as Gigantamax forms in the future... :x
