Leak Repository Thread (WARNING: Huge spoilers!)

The point of my post - was an attempt to disprove a speculation that we will see starter evo's tomorrow. Still too early.

And I listed a reasoning.
That reasoning assumes that a Pokémon of every type needs to be revealed before revealing starter evolutions, which doesn’t make much sense.

But this is consistent with the last 2 gens where the middle and final evo's were revealed the 1st and last month.

We only got 11/18 elements revealed.

Outside of that, this release cycle has been anything but consistent with past ones. I mean, we didn’t get any new Pokémon at Japan Expo or Gamescon and Worlds, which typically reveals new forms or Pokémon, just gave us a trailer highlighting new items.

So there’s still a possibility that we may see the second evos.

Besides, linking the starter evolution reveal to revealing a Pokemon from every type makes no logical or marketing sense.
What do you mean by linking?
You are literally contradicting yourself.
How so?

-

PkmnTrainerV and CrazyCreeperKid, what would make more sense?

Leaking out all the pokemon by element at a time (i.e., leak out all the Grass pokemon 1st, then all the Fire pokemon next), or leak out a family of pokemon, 1 element at a time?

Is this discussion really worth it to you?

OK.
They don't need to reveal a pokemon of every type.

But I never said that either. I said "almost."
Even with almost, almost is implying at least 12 different types, which they really don't need. They really just need to reveal:
Pokemon of the 4 starting types that aren't the starters
A rock or ground pokemon
Pseudo legend
A fairy type
Regional bird, bug, normal type, and pikachuclone.
Which they haven't done a lot yet, only almost fulfilling the first point with Drednaw, Gossifleur and Yamper, as well as the pikaclone.

Was this post in response to my "how am I contradicting myself?" or is this separate.

Anyways, you list some examples that are arbitrary. I don't see how that makes my point contradicting.
