The person you're seeing do that is me. Just say it. And, again, I was just repeating what people were saying.
No, it actually wasn’t you saying what I quoted. But I’m not going to say who I quoted because thats irrelevant- there’s nothing gained in pointing fingers about something that I said as a general disclaimer to everyone here. But also, please don’t make me out to be sneaky or underhanded when I’m literally just posting a disclaimer for the good of the community and purposefully not bringing attention to anyone in particular.

The last thing the Pokémon community needs is ANOTHER thing that gets hyped up out of control only to be proven untrue (and something the game developers never advertised as being true) and then people online bashing the gameplay because it doesn’t match what a misinterpretation of a collage made them think it was.

Not like they're not going to bash the gameplay anyway because being on the Switch somehow means huge open world, AAA graphics, every pokemon in the game, 18 gyms, and endless 5-star content.

...gawd people wear me out.

Wish a trailer would come sooner because I want to see the legendaries already. Also be given the region name because I'm tired of referring to it as PokeSpain for short.

Lol true. I feel like the first week of June is a safe time to start expecting something.

And by something, likely the floodgates of info opening. Probably a big presentation with all the usual stuff plus what we strangely don’t have yet (the starters in motion lol).

Why would you walk into a random party and complain? How does that analogy correlate in anyway to this situation? He's choosing to leak to an audience. WE are the audience. We have every right to not like what we are hearing. Otherwise, what's the point in voice your opinion anyway? Is everyone who speaks out against something they don't like with the news entitled? Am I entitled right now? Cause I certainly don't feel that way. I feel like my time was wasted. If he doesn't like it,he can stop leaking. Good riddance.
And we are choosing to be the audience. Captive audience is a thing and this is not it. No one here is trapped in a twitter classroom and forced to solve the Khu riddle on the whiteboard to escape. So yes, we have every right to not like what we are hearing, and yes, you're being entitled.

Anyway, ridable legendaries sounds awesome and very much like legitimately hypable news to me (assuming it's done in [email protected]/LGPE/PLA style and not a cutscene), hoping that guess is true.

I saw a bigger image of it somewhere and the shading's 100% wrong on it, so not much to debunk about that. XD
oh I love them with all my heart, way too pikachu-y to be legit but it's an absolute delight

Eh for me ridable legendaries are 'oh that's neat I guess' to me. Riding pokemon is just a reskinned bike to me so it really doesn't make a lick of difference to me unless its like you can have a rapidash that goes really fast in straight lines, a mudsdale that's slower but won't get slowed down by uneven terrain, or like a zebstrika that can make quick turns or something. Bad examples probably because I need to go to sleep soon so brain is not think good.

Like unless there's more racing minigames and different pokemon can be used as mounts for different strategies and stuff... riding a legendary pokemon is no different than surfing on a bibarel for me.

Man I seem salty this week. Which is odd because I am not legit focused mad at anything. It's probably just from the fact I haven't been sleeping well since I don't feel good. So nobody feel like I'm mad at you or anyone else here. Like I'm pretty sure Khu's the only thing I'm mad at right now and that's less I HAVE FURY and more adult annoyed at children things. Probably. I need sleep. I cannot word good.

Just because we don't like one aspect of the gameplay, doesn't mean we won't like the game. There is plenty to like It's finally officially open world! The first of it's kind. The textures on Pokemon certainly seemed to have improved (Seviper's scales). At this moment, i dont know why anybody wouldn't be excited for the game. This game has so much potential.

Pretty sure the artist making them fessed up after that one after all the praise people were giving it. Its in the comments of the Reddit post. So unless that person was falsely taking credit, that's probably the end for now.

So no one's got it 100% right yet, I guess. Still, I think that's saying that we've got it at least somewhat right.

That's actually pretty good to hear. Though, I'm not really sure what else we're suppose to derive from all this. Maybe we need to combine it with the color theory somehow.

OMG the pikaclone rodent is so cute aaaa, kinda sad it's fake LOL...(it looks like a Pachirisu and Yamper(?) mix)

Speaking of, I wonder what this region's Pikaclone will look like...

Honestly, the fact that nobody has been 100% correct about the legendary riddle should indicate that we're missing some context. Meaning that complaining about this riddle being disappointing or overhyping the riddle based on speculation makes no sense because we don't know the full answer, let alone the actual context. Let's not fall into the Internet trap of forming an opinion on something that's presented out of context.

As for unused type combinations, I'm fine with any of them being used even if I don't care about the Pokemon too much. It would also be cool to have more instances of underrepresented types such as Poison/Flying or Rock/Fighting.

What if the legendary can be upgraded to traverse different types of terrain and perform different tasks while mounted?

I think what's also more interesting about potentially riding the box mascot is that box mascots are always tied to the plot so you'd practically be riding the plot around. It's not like just riding Tauros or Wyrdeer, characters are more likely to comment on your rideable designated plot device throughout the game.

I mean, if it's the bike replacement, that seems like how it ought to go.

Yeah, that's the problem I have with some people- they literally will act like the game has zero redeeming qualities because they don't like the look of one tree.

Hell, I know someone in the fandom who practically automatically hates the games just for being on the Nintendo Switch. It's so exhausting.

Man am I so glad the tree thing became a meme in later games instead of a legit complaint after SWSH (Mostly).

Legends had great trees lol, I mean...SwSh wasn't great IMO but it's not devoid of good spots, like curry!

As for the missing context, I guess it could be that we have to like...scrutinize the leak more IG.

Have you ever thought that Khu spends a fair amount of his time making the riddles? It's kinda funny, although tbf I'd assume it to be easier considering he knows the answer itself.

Creating a good riddle is often times harder than it is to solve the same riddle.
Of course bad riddles on the other hand...
And you can still wind up spending a lot of time to create a bad riddle. Surely he had to do some work to gather all those canon examples of a legendary being ridden? Like I've seen people who played ORAS forget that you ever rode the legendaries in it. Khu’s said that he doesn't watch the anime but yet he included Lugia in the post. And TCG card art as an example? Really?

Of course, "bad" is assuming that there isn't more to this specific selection that we've all missed.
