SV Leaks and/or Rumours Thread

Some new info from the leaker:

  • The coin pokémon is ghost type.
  • The four sub-legends are not dragon or fairy type.
Edit:
Apparently three of them are Dragon, Flying and Ground. Just bring Ice Beam and the League is done. I guess the last one is Fairy or Fighting, since we know one of them uses the pink pokemon with hammer.
Then again all the Kahunas of Sun and Moon are weak to either Water or Fairy, and it just so happens that one of the starters had both of those types.

I’m like half convinced the dolphin is going to be Cetitan’s prevo since Khu’s teaser image for it is an anthro dolphin from YuGiOh or something.
Aye yo, put some respect on Neo Spacian Aqua Dolphin's name.

Do you think the 4 legendaries are the 4 Chinese Dragons without being Dragon-type? Or is it the 4 Perils? The evil counterparts of the Genies.

It definitely sounds like they are based on the 4 perils. If they were based on the personifications of the directions they would be dragon-types for sure.

Although it would be weird if the villain had a team entirely comprised of Eeveelutions. There's a reason why Pikachu has never been used by a villain in any Pokemon game.
That may be a fair point

E4 spoiler I'm confused. Wasn't it said to be Dragon, Fighting, Flying?

Fighting is presumably the fourth type, as Khu claimed that the chibi girl Pokemon with a hammer (which is very likely going to be the very first Fairy/Fighting type) is an E4 member's ace. And Khu also claimed that all the Elite 4 types were used for E4s in the past, of which Fighting was, while Fairy wasn't. So, the Gyms and Elite 4 are as follows:

Gyms:
Grass
Water
Electric
Normal
Bug
Ice
Ghost
Psychic

Elite 4:
Dragon
Flying
Ground
Fighting

I see. But if that's the case, this would contradict the theory of a GL pulling a double duty as E4. So would raise the qestion as to why Kaka hid the Ground type E4 the other day?

I rather think that the fairy with the hammer is a fairy/steel type so I always thought one E4 is Steel. Would like that more since Fighting is so overused as an E4 type.

I believe that the Ground type Elite 4 member is actually the main villain of the game. At the end of the story they are kicked off the Elite 4 due to their actions and the Psychic-type Gym Leader is promoted to take their place.

what makes you say this?
Mostly because I find it highly weird that someone would simultaneously hold the positions of Gym Leader and Elite 4 member. Gold and Silver already established that it doesn't work like that, as Koga had to abandon his Gym in order to accept the position of Elite 4 member. Also the Ground E4 member was hidden from discussion for a while now.

Wait, what? Then what are those flags supposed to be?
It's either a miscommunication, or the flags simply denote the areas where the Evil Team is present. Maybe if you are in that area you are more likely to get ambushed by the Evil Team and challenged to battles, similar to the Miss Fortune Sisters in PLA.

Given how GF has been handling the stories for the games in recent years, I don't really think the plot is as deep or complex as some have been theorizing. I'm just going to put my own generic theory out there in any case.

  • Clavell is the most likely candidate for Main Villain. Kaka said we have already seen the villain, and Clavell has a very Chairman Rose/Lusamine feel. We will most likely fight him during the big climax of the game after we finish the three stories, where his villainous motivations are suddenly revealed with no buildup. Maybe he founded the school specifically to find Korai/Mirai, and wants to use them to rewrite history or something. Bonus points if he fights us with the opposite Legendary to us.
  • The Evil Team (Team Flags or whatever) is once again not related to the Main Villain at all, like with Team Skull and Team Yell. This time at least, they will have a fully fledged story involving Penny, who is probably a member. Maybe Team Flags is a group that recruits outcasts from the school, and they try to interfere with the Treasure Hunt every year like Team Skull. Penny's story is probably just a straight up "reform the delinquent" plot that we see in a lot of media.
  • I'm inclined to believe in the theory that Arven is related to Professor Sada/Turo in some way, who are separated from him by being in the past/future respectively. This would tie-in to Khu's Lake House hint. Arven's story will involve us helping him connect with them somehow, and Paradox Pokemon will play a part. Its possible they are the Alpha Replacements that have been mentioned by Leakers.
  • Nemona's story is probably going to be the most straightforward, defeat all eight gym leaders and become a Champion. I don't think there is going to be anything more or less than this. Nemona basically comes across as being a female Hau/Hop, so I think that's roughly what we can expect from her in terms of character arcs, perhaps a bit more fleshed out since the critical Khu seems to have enjoyed her character.

There's a fire Pokémon with seemingly a different evolution in each version of the game: One is a 'warrior', the other a blade. He used an image of Gilgamesh (from an anime) as reference.

Sprigatito's mid-stage seems to have either a yoyo or a wand.

Bisharp's samurai-like evolution (a bit like a daimyo) keeps the steel/dark combination.

The spider seems to be pure bug-type.

The Kamen Rider Pokémon is probably another bug (the 'samurai'-like beetle, not to be confused with Bisharp's evo).

Edit:

The coin is presumably pure ghost-type, and Ka hinten at its humanoid evolution with a golden Sudowoodo.

I don't see Clavell being a Ground-type specialist E4 member.

A three stages fire pokémon and an unknown fire pokémon were already leaked. Who knows if this new one is something different from them or part of the old leaks.
I hope it's a yo-yo, since we already have a wizard starter in Delphox.
About the bugs, let me understand. There's a beetle (with an evolution), a kamen rider AND a samurai or the samurai pokemon (not Bisharp) IS simply the beetle?

Kamen Rider is presumably the same as the Samurai beetle.

And, yeah, there's a chance of overlap between the leaked fire-types (although no confirmation thus far).

Anyway, the four Chinese (Pinyin-named) legendaries are dark-types coupled with ground, ice, fire and grass. Confirmed by Khu.
