Hi guys, I've started a series where I'm playing Pokémon Red and Blue and setting myself the challenge to paint every pokémon I catch and evolve. I thought it would be something fun to do and people can learn about my process of painting pokémon at the same time. Here's a link to the first episode...

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts and how I could improve future episodes :)

Squirtle looks great, it looks the best so far.

Pidgey looks like a baby pidgeon and Spearow like a demon bird, I like them.

The Nidoran look more realistic.

Will caught up with the others eventually, great work!

Thank you for taking the time to watch them, Nicolas. I'm glad you like Squirtle :) Any feedback on ways I can improve future episodes would be greatly appreciated!

It's funny how a simple change in proportions can make a Pokémon look different. Paras looks cuter, while Wartortle looks badass and more similar in appearance to Blastoise.

Yes, it is funny how we perceive things based on relative size to other parts of the body. It's pretty fun playing with proportions. I thought my Paras painting looked a bit like it's in shock

We'll paint Clefairy, Sandshrew & Bellsprout in Let's Play and Paint: Pokémon Red and Blue Episode 6. Continuing in Mt. Moon, finding moon stones, a fossil and battling Team Rocket. We finally make it to Cerulean City, where we'll take on Gary!

We'll paint Abra, Pidgeotto & Raticate in Let's Play and Paint: Pokémon Red and Blue Episode 7. We'll be battling our way through Route 25 to make it to Bill's house, then we'll head back to Cerulean City, where we'll take on Misty at Cerulean Gym!

We'll paint Kakuna, Metapod & Meowth in Let's Play and Paint: Pokémon Red and Blue Episode 8. We'll leave Cerulean City on Route 5 and Route 6 in order to make our way to Vermilion City, and we'll try to evolve our pokémon along the way.
