I choose all of the quadrupedal starters! I don't know why, they are just the most adorable to me! Mudkip, Bulbasaur, Chikorita, and Tepig forever! (Never played a Sinnoh game - should I?)

As a side note, I was extremely excited to find out that Tepig was a quadrupedal FIRE TYPE! I've never had one of those before!

When me and both of my brothers still all played the games, we used to divide up the starter pokemon so each of us would have a different one. One of the other characteristics used was the ability to learn Dragon Claw, in case anyone was interested.
