So, do you think long distance relationships work?

I am currently in one, so I say yes.

I didn't vote because it really depends how much you love the person. Too bad there isn't a choice for that =/

If two people really love and care about each other it can work.

I've hardly ever held a short-distance relationship. I'm not so sure what to think, but I know a couple of people that did make it work.

It really depends on the person. I personally wouldn't want a long distance relationship but I'm not against them. But I don't really want a relationship at all at the moment.

Well depends say its some one you meet in a online game begging for a girl/boy friend then that wont work.

But if its some one you have knowen online for a long time and truely love them i think you could pull it off.

But i dont date on line as i like to beable to see the person in real life too.

I tried one a few years ago. Well, she moved away and tried to keep it going. Im a bit tooparanoid to believe everything she told me while she was over there, so I ended it.

Also, why have a long distance relationship when there are plenty of nice people around you? Unless its to continue an existing relationship, I see no reason to enter a long distance one.

As mentioned before, if the two people truly love each other, then I say yes. C:

What is distance but a mere string of numbers over land which can be crossed in seconds over the internet?

I believe they can work, but you have to work hard at them, like any relationship.

This. Any type of relationship has it's problems, and this is no different.
Mines has been working out very well so far, and we're both working hard at it to make it work as well as we can. It really depends on the people and how they really feel more than the distance. A lot of the time when they start meeting more often, it's like they've been together forever. So I think it can work.

As I said, every relationship has it's cons and it's pros, this is no different to me.

Wat zeh othuh ppl sed; yupyup, but often depends (9 9)
I've been in one fer zeh past 15 months or soh, and evwyfin's still goinh purfektly~

I would say that any relationship cann work, depending on the level of attraction between those involved. If two people really like each other, than it should work...

They can work, but it might be harder to keep up since some people think they physical contact to keep their relationship going.

I'm currently in a long-distance relationship, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Almost 13 months and counting~

This. I couldn't agree more. Personally, I've never been in one, but I do have very good friends who Icommunicte with only over the net.

So, why wouldn't it work if two people are in love?
