Looker & Croagunk debut in Pokémon Masters EX alongside Team Hoenn Unite! Solo Event re-run - Hoenn Challenge now available in Champion Stadium

Pokémon Masters EX continues its current run of Hoenn linked events with the return of the Team Hoenn Unite! Solo Event, and the addition of the Hoenn Challenge to the Champion Stadium. Additionally, as a complement to the recently released Hoenn chapter of the Villain Arc, Looker & Croagunk are making their debut as part of a Spotlight Scout.

Looker Spotlight Scout
As a tie-in to the Hoenn Chapter of the Villain Arc, this spotlight scout offers players an opportunity to scout Looker, who is making their Pokémon Masters EX debut in a sync pair together with Croagunk. This new sync pair has an expanded sync grid, and the ability to be raised to 6★ EX. Raising the Sync Pair to a 6★ EX will unlock Song Key 04012, which allows "Battle! (Looker) (Pokémon Masters EX Version)" to be played in the Jukebox, and also changes Looker's trademark trenchcoat and suit to Blue and White to match his Partner Pokémon.

In addition to the regular Spotlight Scout, Trainers can also take advantage of a Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3!, a special Sync Pair Scout requiring paid gems, that, as the name implies, can be used up to 3 times. Players will receive a 50% discount on their first Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout, making it 1,500 Gems rather than the usual 3,000. As an added bonus, players will also receive bonus items every time they do a Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout. The bonuses that are received are as follows.

2nd Time

• 5★ Master Scout Ticket X x1

The 5★ Master Scout Ticket X allows Trainers to use the Looker Guarenteed Ticket Scout, ensuring they scout this member of the International Police.

Both the Spotlight Scout and Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3! will be available until August 27th, at 10:59pm (PT). The associated Ticket Scout will be available until September 3rd, at 10:59pm (PT).

Team Hoenn Unite! Event re-run
This event, focusing on Sync Pairs from Hoenn challenging Trainers on Pasio to Full-Force Battles, is making a return to the game until August 16th, at 10:59pm (PT). The event originally ran from January 14th to 30th, 2021. By completing battles during this event, players can earn Event Voucher P items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items, including 5★-Guaranteed Scout Tickets. Players can also obtain Event Medals, Move Candy Coins, and Gems for completing special missions during the event. All rewards can be claimed even if players have previously completed the event during its original run.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• May & Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert, Brendan & Treecko/Grovyle/Sceptile: +60% (x1.6) Bonus Rewards
• All other sync pairs with the Hoenn theme skill: +20% (x1.2) bonus rewards

The bonuses stack additively so having a team of May & Mudkip, Brendan & Treecko, and one other sync pair with the Hoenn Theme Skill, would grant a combined +140% (x2.4) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Leftover Event Voucher P items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes.

Champion Stadium: Hoenn Challenge
The Champion Stadium added a new Hoenn Challenge at the beginning of this week, which will be available in-game until September 4th, at 10:59pm (PT), giving players the opportunity to challenge Hoenn Elite 4 members Sidney, Phoebe, Glacia, and Drake, as well as Champions Steven and Wallace, who will be available for challenge in alternate weeks.

Successful trainers will gain access to Master Mode, which allows players to face more challenging battles against the Elite 4, an in-game badge that signifies their accomplishment, and other special reward items including Champion Spirit, which can be used to raise sync pairs up to 6★ EX. Trainers who have previously completed the Medal for other regions in the Champion Stadium will still need to complete the Medal for the Hoenn Challenge to unlock it for this challenge.
