So I am looking to make a Competitive Glaceon that can take hits and dish them back out. This build would mostly be for Doubles and some Singles with another Pokemon Batton Passing to her.

In Pokemon Violate I have a Glaceon with this current build--
Ability: Snow Cloak
Item: Assault Vest
Moves:
-Ice Beam
-Freeze Dry
-Mud Shot
-Shadow Ball
Nature: Modest
Stats:
HP: 291 (EVs 80)
ATK: 139
DEF: 300 (EVs 176)
SP.ATK: 394 (EVs 252)
SP.DEF: 226
SPD: 168

What could I do to better set her up for a competitive

Do you know the Pokémon Showdown style of putting down sets? I’ll make some sets real quick and test them out. One sec. Oh, yeah, what Gen is this for? Until I know, I’ll just do National Dex (most fan games use this, if you’re using it for a fan game)

Singles Glaceon sets (Shiny is the one I’d use)-

  • Ice Shard
  • Aqua Tail
  • Trailblaze

For doubles I just made a team revolving around Glaceon and using it effectively. Here’s what I came up with:

Glaceon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Ice Body
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
  • Blizzard
  • Hidden Power [Fighting]
  • Alluring Voice
  • Hyper Voice

Ninetales-Alola @ Icy Rock
Ability: Snow Warning
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
  • Freeze-Dry
  • Aurora Veil
  • Moonblast
  • Blizzard

Salamence-Mega @ Salamencite
Ability: Aerilate
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
  • Tailwind
  • Hyper Voice
  • Heat Wave
  • Dragon Pulse

Blastoise @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 Def / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
  • Follow Me
  • Rapid Spin
  • Haze
  • Hydro Pump

Landorus-Therian (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
  • Knock Off
  • U-turn
  • Earthquake
  • Outrage

Iron Boulder @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
  • Mighty Cleave
  • Zen Headbutt
  • Sacred Sword
  • Swords Dance

I also tested it, and it’s viable. Make sure to set up Snow with Ninetales and Tailwind with Salamence. Follow Me and Haze on Blastoise are pretty important, as well. So is Ninetales’ Aurora Veil. Once you have Snow and Tailwind, just Tera Ice on Glaceon and keep spamming Blizzard lol

Proof it can be used effectively: [Gen 9] National Dex Doubles: bungaz vs. PokefanKIV - Replays - Pokémon Showdown!
