Yes, if all other DS games would get coloured cartridges, otherwise I think the coloured Pokémon DS cartridges would look like fake games.

Yes, that would be awesome. Mainly, because of nostalgia. Maybe for an anniversary? Make it happen, Nintendo/Game Freak!

I really don't see any reason not too, it could be a fun way to make Pokemon look different from other game~

did anyone else notice that the hgss, bw and bw2 cartridges are translucent?

Colored cartridges are what made Pokémon a success to begin with! If you saw someone with a Game Boy, you could see what version of Pokémon they were playing: red, blue, yellow, gold, silver, translucent red, translucent blue...

If Pokémon was originally released in stock gray Game Boy cartridges, I assure you, it wouldn't be a success it was.

But now? Kinda irrelevant.

I missed the age when cartridges were still colored, but it seems like a fun idea to bring it back. It would make your Pokémon cartridges distinct from other cartridges, and if other people were to see your cartridge while you were playing in public, it would be a signal flare of sorts to other trainers.

1000 TIMES YES!!!!!!!!! Not only would it help me distinguish which game it was, but it would also look super epic.

YES! The only reason I got my first Pokemon game was because red was my favorite color. I know it sounds silly, but I was only five, haha. But seriously, I think that the colored cartridges made them stand out from other games.

Yes, it would totally make my Pokémon games stand out from my regular games and it would be easier to tell the difference between versions without looking too hard.

I'd like it with the clear cartridges, but normal color cartridges would also work.

Of course. A version is not a version if the cart doesn't have the color of the version, lol. So we all are playing Pokémon Black/Gray since Gen IV.

All kidding aside, unless there is a good reason to produce a black cartridge, having coloured cartridges would be nicer. Remember how cool the Gen II cartridges look. Pokémon Stadium 2 even had a half gold, half silver color.

Iirc, the DS cartridges that are "black" (as opposed to Gray) are that color to make use of of infrared. So even if they wanted to, it was impossible to make HGSS/BW/BW2 their respective color.

Fun fact, put one of the "black" cartridges under a light. They're actually a deep red!

Yes! It was really interesting, and I would like to see it return.

I was never able to own any legit cartridge when I was younger but was able to buy Sapphire and Emerald off my schoolmates and I do love how they're colored. Makes them more collectible. I would want all Pokemon games I buy to be colored. And they should return to the foil stickers as well. Those looked awesome on colored cartridges.

Yes, of course. Colored cartridges made the games stand out among the other games. It made them special.

I really loved colored cartridges. I hope they make a return. It helped me pick out my Pokémon games more easily amongst my vast collection of GBA games. And it made the games feel more 'unique', somehow.

First off, ALL OF MY YES! Even if it is completely useless.

I would settle for colored game boxes.

Why? I wasn't a problem for any of the Gameboy cartridges.

It would be nice to have colored cartridges again. When they were colored, it made it a lot easier to know which game I was grabbing all the time. With the DS games, I end up sifting through the piles looking for the right one, especially with their small size as well.

I would be uber-happy if they brought colored cartridges back. Looking at my copy of Pokémon X in my cartridge case makes me a sad panda because it looks like all of the other cartridges I have--grey and boring.

Meanwhile I'm still mesmerized by my Ruby and Sapphire cartridges. They're so beautiful~
