Doesn't change the fact that Ash was a supporting character,this movie was about Lucario.If you've seen the movie,you know what Lucario did after Ash helped him out a bit.So therefore,Lucario gets most of the credit.
I forgot to mention that while this movie was good,the concept of getting the group to the Tree was a bit flawed.Sure,Pikachu was missing and all,but it wasn't exactly urgent that they'd get to the Tree and "rescue" Pikachu.If Lucario hadn't gone there,he would've probably grown to hate Aaron since he would've believed he did abandon him and the castle.So the point was getting Lucario to the Tree to learn the truth about Aaron.The overall motivation of getting the group there is what bugs me a bit.
