That doesn't sound like Goldfarb. In fact it sounds about ten times better than anything he's done for the series.

As someone who's already a fan of Ed Goldfarb and Sarah Natochenny (yeah, I said it), they've really outdone themselves with this one. It may not be full nostalgia trip the Japanese version was (and even then a lot of liberties were taken), but it looks amazing in its own right.

I also noticed a fairly major script difference between the original series dub and this movie's dub. In the dub of episode 1, he says "The early bird gets the worm, or in this case the Pokémon." In the dub of this movie, he says "Being a second late for a train or even a Pokémon can be life-changing" which is also what he says in the fansubs of episode 1. In other words, TPCi translated the proverb more literally than 4Kids did. Whether that's a good thing or not is up for you to decide.

Dang, Sarah Natochenny sounds pretty decent. And the music in the trailer actually sounded pretty cool, too bad we're probably gonna get more crappy synth stuff in the actual film.

I'll most likely give both versions a shot because sometimes it's fun to see/hear the differences between sub/dub

Especially if the dub decides to cut something important...

Luckily Disney XD seems a bit more lax when it comes to time slots. The Volcanion movie aired completely uncut, IIRC.

In Italy they will make a press screening too, on next Monday 30/10 in Milano
Normal release will be 5-6 November , but some Theaters will screen this movie for 4 days (5-6-11 -12)

It’s a pity I won’t be able to attend that screening. I found out about the event way too late and I’m busy with other stuff…

I’ll just watch it when it will be released in the cinemas.
