What about new characters in unite?
You can make your own charcters here is a little example:

Milotic

Ability:
Marvel Scale
If the Pokemon is unable to move his defense is extremly raised.

-Aquatail: (Effect)
........

Protection Force
Damage dealt by attacks of the Pokemon increase after using a defensive move.

Sure, let's do this. :) Given that tis the season, how about we go with a special little friend?

Delibird (Supporter)
Ability:
Vital Spirit - Slowing and Trapping effects increase Delibird's Speed instead. (Does not apply to the enemy's Flux Zone.)
Moves:
Stealth Rocks -> Spikes -> Spikes+ (acts like Toxic Spikes)
These moves act as field hazards. Whenever an opponent walks over the area, they get damaged and slowed by the trap. A use of Stealth Rocks overall does more damage than a single use of Spikes, but you can only have one Stealth Rocks active at a time. You can have as many Spikes up as your level and if an enemy passes over your Spikes+, they are poisoned. If they pass over a Spikes+ while poisoned, they become badly poisoned resulting in them taking damage over time as well as slightly increased damage while under this effect (which does apply to the DoT). You can toss Stealth Rocks and Spikes/Spikes+ onto an enemy to serve as a direct means of dealing damage, however doing so will not poison/toxic the target.

Happy Hour -> Present -> Present+
Happy Hour heals targets around you by an amount. The higher your SpA, the higher the healing. Present has an effect depending on how it is used, but in any case: a Pokemon who opens a Present is forced to pause for a whole second to open the Present. (Maybe less depending on playtest.) If you use it directly on an ally, they will either heal for varying amounts or in rare cases do nothing as the box opens to reveal nothing inside. If you use it on an enemy or if you throw the gifts around on the ground, they act as mystery boxes. When opened, they can either do damage or provide healing. If tossed on an enemy directly, the odds of it being damage is increased. When a Present deals damage, it reveals a lump of coal. Present+ does the same as Present, but with "loaded dice" so to speak, making higher healing for allies and higher damage for enemies even easier.

Unite Move:
Mystery Gifts
A number of Presents equal to half your level (round up) are randomly tossed onto the screen. Opening the gift grants the Pokemon a random buff, debuff, healing, or damage. The buffs equal the effect of any one random battle item or a held item held by a Pokemon who was on the screen at the time of its activation. The debuffs are equal to half of the opposite of a random battle item or held item. This means if it was an Anti-Potion, you take damage. If it was an X-Speed, you are slowed. Allies are more likely to get beneficial effects and enemies more likely to get negative effects, but neither is a guarantee. Any Mystery Gifts not opened within 5 seconds will explode dealing damage to any enemy Pokemon in the area.

Obviously these would need workshopped before being usable, but I think as a basic idea they could be fun for those who like to be Supports or who like to be forces of chaos. This of course bad to use in random laddering matches, but if you're playing with friends and communicating over voice chat (either in-game or Discord) then it'd be a lot easier to strategize around grouping up in the late game... especially since Mystery Gifts REALLY pops off around the time that you beat Zapdos/Rayquaza since your team will usually be close together as you all try to push for a final assault.
