During this event, which will be held on November 25th, between 2:00pm and 5:00pm local time, Mareep will be appearing more frequently in the wild, and its Shiny variant will also be available to be encountered.
Event Bonuses and Activities
The following event bonuses will be active throughout the event's 3-hour period:
- 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in Incubators
- Incense (except Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
- Trainers can receive a special surprise by taking a few in-game snapshots during the event period
PokéStop Showcases for Mareep and Ampharos will be running throughout the event at different PokéStops.
Additionally, Flaffy that are evolved into Ampharos between 2:00pm and 7:00pm local time on the day of the Community Day Classic will learn the Fast Attack Dragon Pulse. This attack has 90 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms, and Raids.
Event Bundles in the in-game shop and Web Store
Two different bundles will be available from the in-game shop during this event. The first bundle, which costs 1,350 PokéCoins, includes 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, one Elite Charged TM, and five Lucky Eggs. The second bundle, costing 480 PokéCoins, includes 30 Ultra Balls, one Incense, three Super Incubators, and one Lure Module.
Additionally, the Pokémon GO Web Store will be offering its own special bundle for $US9.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This bundle includes 500 Poké Balls, one Poffin, and three Lucky Eggs.
