Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s DLC has released its final wave. It’s been a great ride and also fun to wait for the new tracks.

But who knows, Nintendo might decide to release more DLC. I doubt it though as there are no new tracks to take from Mario Kart Tour. (Though that doesn’t mean Nintendo can’t throw a curveball). There probably also won’t be more battle tracks as the best time to do that would’ve been around Wave 4 or 5 where there would be a good amount of hype.

I like Wave 6’s tracks though there’s nothing too much to be excited for. I would have preferred Wave 6 to be the most excited and have a different wave be a bit more bland. Maybe I’m just sleepy. I don’t know

I lost my 8DX cartridge when the third wave came out. Ever since I've been pretty disappointed since I did get the DLC and now it's gone until I get the game again (luckily the data is stored on the switch itself...)

I’ve been casually playing sometimes when we need something for a family game night and since I’ve been getting the booster courses with my expansion pack deluxe Nintendo membership (icr the name T-T) I generally think it’s pretty good!

My review: pretty good courses, pretty good characters

I’m coming in first everywhere cause I set it to 100 cc for my siblings

Edit: I’m almost done the second new Grand Prix and my thumb hurts

So, there's a recent discovery I have made regarding Wave 6 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, something that YouTubers conveniently don't talk about.

Basically, when both the Inkling Boy and female Villager combined with their respective counterparts, it seemed like their respective counterparts would be the unchanged default. But I'm here to say that this isn't true, as you can change the default character by simply choosing the alternate character within the submenu in the character select screen.
