Well well well...so we've got three hours till the airdate, plus three minutes till any video footage of the show gets on the net...
so essentially it's only a matter of time till either we all turn into screaming fanboys/girls over a third version or we all get our pitchforks and Masuda effigies. I'm so looking forward to getting my hopes fulfilled or smashed either way. This forum will SO be full of rage posts if he is messing with us - we might even need a "Masuda Rant" thread for eveyrone to load it on! >:)

I know I shouldn't, And I feel so guilty...But I am really excited! I'm hoping for Grey, But it's possibly some kind of side-game, I think that Ruby and Sapphire remakes are a bit too much at this time, but, There is always the possibility. I know one thing for sure, there is going to be a bunch of people, really angry, and really disappointed, Really soon. XD

well it's 5:11 in japan now so in the UK it will be 10:30PM when it's 7:30 in Japan. GUess I'll find out the news tomorrow morning. Though odds are I'm completely wrong since I know nothing about time.

LOL XD

What if its just a precursor to a Kyurem new forme reveal? Will you all still rage? To me, its still kinda early for a Grey announcement since its still February, and Emerald/Platinum were not revealed till June/May. If you want to count recent games B/W were not confirmed till April or May as well.

You never know though. I guess they could confirm its existence and simply not reveal the box art till those dates, but going off the past I'm just hoping for a Kyurem reveal or likely at best a silhouette of the new forme.

I dont know if anyone's taking this into consideration, but the anime seems to be moving at a much faster pace, so maybe the 3rd version will need to be released sooner than expected so they might announce it now, for an earlier release.

interesting point, Keldeo. The anime feeds from the games so I guess it would be necessary. That or the anime would simply take a hiatus or even make an anime/manga-only arc like the Orange League arc.
And to El, nah I won't rage if it's a new Kyurem forme. In fact I doubt anyone would, since if it IS a reveal of a Kyurem forme that's as good as a conformation of Grey or Monochrome or Tao or whatever it will be called. Frankly they could call it "Pokemon Spazattack Version" and I'd still buy it.

I can't even begin to think of what the "huge announcement" could be other than Grey or the RS remakes. They are about to release a spin-off game, they've already released a few, I can't see them releasing ANOTHER in the next few months without a main series game being released soon.

As far as I can recall the only times Masuda has appeared personally on the Sunday/Smash were when a new game was announced (as well as the revealing of Zorua/Zoroark), so a new main series game is very likely.

I can hardly wait~ even though I'll be asleep. If I could I'd make my spirit stand there in the audience with a translator so I can understand Japanese. Then again if it's a game or forme reveal you don't really need to understand a different language, you just need eyes.

@Keldeo94 AGREED. Think about it: Ash will be battling Skyla, the Mistralton City Gym Leader fir his sixth Unova Gym Badge. When Ash was battling for his sixth Gym Badge in Sinnoh, Platinum was already released.
