If you go to happymeal.com ---> Toys ----> Up Next ---> Pokemon, you can see a close up of each toy and what it does (i.e. light up, bobblehead, poseable)
Apparently the cards that come with the toy are foil. To quote the website, "Every Pokémon™ Happy Meal® Toy comes with 1 of 12 random foil Pokémon™ Trading Card Game Cards"

Strangely, the McDonalds I went to only had Oshawott toys so I'll have to wait or check other stores later.

I got Oshawott and the Pidove Card.

P.S I hate that ad. That kid should not be in the commercial. It should be just the figurines in 3D and the cards.

the toys are so hard to see and i never knowed that mcdonalds cards could turn into pokemon cards

According to Pokebeach, McDonalds will allow you to buy the toys for a smaller price than a Happy Meal so you don't get all overweight on Happy Meals. Which is a relief because I hate McDonalds' food (the nuggets I can tolerate) and would have ended up throwing it away. >.<

And I'm almost 19, and I'm not afraid to go to McDonalds and ask for my Pokemon.

This is cool, I want the Zekrom, Tepig, and Zoroark. It's too bad they don't give away pokemon at McDonald's like they do in Japan.
