Pokémon Match Battle 2023
The Pokémon Company International has been collaborating with McDonald’s almost every year since 2011 to put toys or cards in Happy Meals, and this year’s set of 15 cards is now available in the U.S. This promotion has already been run in Germany, Austria, and the U.K. earlier this summer, and is currently also running in Australia, so a full list of cards, as well as which ones are available printed in the usual Happy Meal confetti holofoil, is already available. Just like the 2022 Happy Meal cards, this set is entirely comprised of reprints of cards from other available sets.

Pikachu Happy Meal Box
Each Happy Meal comes with the Match Battle token, a sticker, and four cards, one of which will be holo. The simplified card game, Match Battle, debuted with last year’s Happy Meal promotion; players flip the token to select a stat on the card and determine whether the highest or lowest number in that stat will win.

Based on the length of past promotions, these cards are expected to be available in the U.S. until sometime in mid-October, however no official final date has been announced.
