SwSh Mega Evolutions/Regional variants/Z-moves

I'm all for regional variants of existing Pokémon, so i hope they return. Best feature by far, better than Mega Evolutions and Z-Moves.

If Game Freak still has commitment on Mega Evolutions, how about making Mega Evolutions for Eeveelutions so they can combat most Legendary Pokémon? Most Eeveelutions are way worse each gen.

The only exception is the basic Eevee, which already got his signature Z-Move.

Wait for the armors. Maybe a new evveeolution steel or ghost or both are coming this gen. The rest will probably react too. Maybe get secondary abilities or something. Have a feeling new eveeolutions could get good new abilities.

With the Detective Pikachu promo happening in Go this week, it got me thinking what they could do for SwSh promo this winter, and to me that is one more point in favor of Galar forms. They won't release gen 8 Pokémon yet, but they've already released Alolan forms and would have no trouble releasing Galar forms for any gen 1-4 Pokémon. It's the best cross-promo imaginable, showing off new forms you can get and play with in SwSh. The alternative is boring... new clothing to match the SwSh players. Which they'd do either way.
