Pokémon UNITE Halloween 2023
After weeks of waiting, Pokémon UNITE fans can now finally jump into battle with Mimikyu, who is available in-game now alongside the start of this year's Halloween events. Also dropping today is the Version 1.12.1.4 patch. This new patch brings with it a raft of rebalancing changes, including much needed changes to Mewtwo (Y), which players have been consistently decrying as overpowered since its launch in August.

Mimikyu joins the fray!
Mimikyu is a well-balanced Pokémon that can use its special characteristics to forcefully approach enemies and trap them. It can currently be purchased from the Unite Battle Committee for 575 Aeos Gems, however purchases with Aeos Coins purchases will be unlocked later this month on October 27th.

One special Holowear item for Mimikyu was also made available, Costume Party Style: Mimikyu. This Holowear, which features Audio/Visual FX for Movement, can be purchased from Zirco Trading for 1,050 Aeos Gems.

Mimikyu Commemorative Event
Until November 2nd, players who obtain Mimikyu will be able to clear a selection of daily and weekly missions in order to obtain Box Progress. Upon obtaining 100 progress, players will be able to open a box which can award players items including Aeos Tickets x20, Item Enhancers x2, a 1-Day Aeos Coin Boost Card, a 1-Day Battle Point Boost Card, an Energy Boost Tank, and an Extra-Energy Tank x1.

Battle at Mer Stadium by throwing pumpkins at your enemies!
A special 4 VS 4 battle mode at Mer Stadium is now available through Quick Battles, where players can throw pumpkins at your enemies to transform them into pumpkins, with the whole map being decorated with Halloween ornaments. This mode will be available until November 13th.

A Special Reward featuring a Background can be earned if players exchange a total of 40 capsules. Up to 95 exchanges can be made total.

Players can earn Halloween Coins to be used in the Halloween Capsule Dispenser by completing a variety of daily challenges. These missions reset daily at 2:00pm (PDT), and include logging in, exchanging rewards from the capsule dispenser, winning battles at Mer Stadium, participating at battles in Mer Stadium and putting pumpkins on Pokémon heads 10 times. Each challenge gives 10 to 30 Halloween Coins. These missions will be available until the Halloween Capsule Dispenser expires on November 13th.
