Did people actually think that double battles wouldn't stay?

I'm not surprised haha. Triple battles and rotation battles will likely return as well.

You know they wouldn't get rid of Double Battles, even if it's 90% single battles in the anime.

It's most likely, they couldn't just drop them suddenly out of nowhere, and replace them with other concepts entirely.

I'm not too surprised. It was obvious. Chespin learning Woodhammer and Rollout makes me think it will evolve into a Grass/Ground type.

Or Grass/Rock. I would prefer Grass/Rock over any other type combo for Chespin except for maybe Grass/Steel.

thanks for the info

Bulbabot needs no thanks. Either way, Grass/Rock all the way.

Chespin learns rollout because hedgehogs roll up. I wouldn't say it points at it being part rock, heck Froakie gets bounce because it's a frog. Now watch Fennekin learn some type of ground move because it's a fennec Fox who live in deserts.

I agree with this. I personally believe Horde battles are based on the Triple battle framework, so there's no reason not to have a few here and there.

Still- Fennekin+Psychic= Mass speculation of a fire/psychic.
