...And now they take Game 2, with Jeter out for the rest of the postseason.
Tigers are winning the pennant. Calling it now.
Jeter hasn't really been doing that much in the postseason so far though, iirc. I mean, I'm very confident about the Tigers' chances, we have one of the best teams we've had in years, but I don't think the absence of Jeter will make or break the Yankees.
But I do have to say, it's been fun to gloat to a couple of pompous Yankees fans I know on Facebook who, despite the Tigers having one of the best pitchers in the game right now and the first Triple Crown hitter since the 1960s, thought they would win the ALCS handily. Hahahahahaha no.
