More Paldean Pokémon make their Pokémon GO debuts next week with the Harvest Festival event, starting October 12th

Starting next week, Pokémon GO will be marking the changing of the seasons with a new Harvest Festival event, running from October 12th at 10:00am through to October 17th, at 8:00pm local time. The Olive Pokémon Smoliv, and its evolutions Dolliv and Arboliva, will make their Pokémon GO debuts as part of this event.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonuses will be active during the event period:

• Mossy Lure Modules activated during the event will last for two hours, and have a higher chance of attracting Pumpkaboo.
• Catching Pumpkaboo during the event during the event will award additional Pumpkaboo Candy

PokéStop Showcases for Smoliv, Pumpkaboo, and Gourgeist will also be running throughout the event at different PokéStops.

Timed Research and Collection Challenge
Paid event-exclusive Timed Research will be available for the Harvest Festival as part of the Ticket of Treats which was announced towards the end of last week. When the Timed Research tasks for Ticket of Treats Part 2 are completed, Trainers will receive One Mossy Lure, as well as Additional encounters with Large Size and Super Size Pumpkaboo. The tasks for this Timed Research will continue past the end of the Harvest Festival event to the end of the month, with all rewards needing to be claimed before October 31st, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers may also gift the Ticket of Treats to any friend with a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher.

An event-themed Collection Challenge will also be available as part of this event, requiring players to complete Field Research tasks to receive XP, Stardust, and Mossy Lure modules.
