  1. Yawn should affect all Pokemon on the field, like a real yawn is contagious.
  2. It's lazy that Attract still only affects opposite-gender Pokemon. But that's a whole other can of worms...

Once I have some more time to think on it, I will get back to you, but I like the Yawn thing. Based on the contagious thing, a random Pokémon on the field should fall asleep every other turn after the original one, but it would have to effect the user/friends as well.

Attract would become kinda OP without gender restrictions, unless they really nerfed the chance of getting immobilized. Not to mention controversial if asshole parents ever found out.

Is Japan even accepting of homosexuality?

Varies wildly depending on age group and region, urban cities show more tolerance overall than rural areas (but that's hardly exclusive to Japan). And a quick google shows that there are some protective laws in place. And it's not like the topic in general is entirely taboo.

But from even just a mechanical standpoint, removing gender restrictions would be frowned upon. That said, I wouldn't mind if they reworked the move a little. Because why aren't Oranguru, Ferroseed, Ferrothorn, Larvesta and Volcarona capable of learning Attract? They're the only gendered evolution families without a hyperspecialised moveset that can't. The others (genderless, 'weak', Wobbuffet) more or less make sense, but these seem odd choices not to be able to. You might argue that Oranguru is too antisocial and solitair for it to be fitting, but it's hardly the only Pokemon like that.

If it is the opposite gender of the user, the target becomes infatuated and less likely to attack.

The description in any of the games is along these lines, this is simply the most recent one. Pokemon that learn this move naturally have it thematically make sense (Swoobat, Luvdisc, Milotic), so no comments there. But there are also a few surprising Pokemon missing in this list. Salazzle doesn't learn it naturally, and neither does Pheromosa, despite it thematically making sense. Of course, Pheromosa can't even make use of it as a genderless Pokemon, but that's where a reworking of the move might come in handy. Cause it's not like there's a specific ruleset for how Attract works either.

Anyone who comes into contact with the ultrasonic waves emitted by a courting male experiences a positive mood shift.
Salazzle lives deep in caves and forces the Salandit it has attracted with its pheromones to serve it.

And here are two relevant Dex entries of Pokemon that learn Attract either by leveling up or by TM. Courting male Swoobat (attracting the ladies, we assume) cause a positive mood shift in other species (and possibly even female Swoobat, cause it says 'aynone'). So apparently they execute the move by using their ultrasonic waves. Salazzle on the other hand uses her pheromones to perform Attract and other charm/attraction based moves. And I don't think it would be a stretch to say Psychic type could use its abilities to the same effect.

But then there's also the bit that Wicke tells the player about Pheromosa:
But its most distinctive features may in fact be its beauty and its powerful pheromones. Most any creature that squares off against a Pheromosa becomes confused, as if struck by the beast's beauty, and loses the will to fight.

That's the description of Attract, spot on. Even so, Pheromosa can't actually do this in-game! Does it need to? Maybe not, it's got plenty of other more useful moves, but even so...

Considering how little the 'Infatuation' status has to do with love, which might be a hurdle for more conservative minded people, it could easily be reworked. Why not have fitting genderless Pokemon learn the move, but lower the chance of it succeeding? And allow gendered Pokemon to use it on any opponent, regardless of gender, but give it a higher succes rate when used on Pokemon of the opposite gender. That falls much more in line with the loe the games give us, and increases the move's usefulness a little

I know HMs aren't used in Gen 7, but I think the Pokémon that can use them should be altered when they make a return. Of course it makes sense that pretty much every Water-type learns Surf and every Flying-type learns Fly, but why can't all Water-types learn Waterfall/Whirlpool (when it is an HM) and I feel like Flash is pretty limited in its users too, since practically every Fire or Electric-type should probably learn it.

As Field Moves, I think they should be changed as well. For example, I get that Natu can Fly and, thus, should be able to use the move in battle. But there is no way that Natu (being minuscule) would be able to carry even a toddler around outside of battle. The same holds true for quite a few Surfers/Fliers. Now the player is a kid and usually around 4'11 or something, so I am assuming 80ish pounds, so it wouldn't limit too many Pokémon from using them as Field Moves, but I think would be more accurate to not have a kid Flying around on a Pidgey.

TMs are used in Gen VII. Both in the Alola games and LGPE.

Well, the (useful) HM moves are available as TMs, and if LGPE is any indication, they are adding them as normal level up moves. For example, Aerodactyl now has access to Fly, and seven Pokémon now have access to Surf normally.
Didn't LGPE have less moves overall though?

Or just very altered movesets?

Yawn should be a sound move and also when a pokemon sleeps then it should be able to use it too without sleep talk.
They can say that a pokemon in deep sleep can use it because it's natural for a sleeper.
Also pokemon who learn Nightmare or Dreameater should be able to use those moves when they are sleeping themselfs.
Then with yawn they could still battle during sleep.
Telekinesis, Teleport too psychic types even when sleeping should be able to use some moves when the bond with their trainer is strong.
___
Teleport? why only teleport own pokemon? what if Teleport could be used on your pokemon like Baton Pass to switch it out but also on the oponent and make it work like a Roar or Whirlwind? This way the move would get the real needed respect for psychic types after so many generations. We need more switching moves also.
The Z-move effect is great but regular use to switch yourself or your oponet out of battle would be more strategic in game. Especially for psychic types. Teleport could work on dark or not but that depends what fans or creator would want.

Spiky Shield should make more damage or also disable the oponents last attack. This way it would have more chances to counter with other moves.
__
Fairy Wind and Disarming Voice need better effects.
I think that Fairy Wind should hit Phantom force users too.
Disarming Voice should either paralyze oponent or disable the oponets last used move.
__
Shadow sneak, shadow claw should hit Phantom Force users in their protected turn.
__
Sparkling Aria- effect like in gen VII+when heals a burned oponent gains self the hp he lost+ heals the user from own burn and restores it's hp. Or something this kind.
___
many moves should help pokemon un-freeze, protect from getting frozen and be able to use when frozen...
Acid Armor, Acid moves, Physical Poison moves(ice is water, poisons are used to warm up things), Physical Electric moves(energy=heat), Energy Ball, Solar Blade, Solar Beam, Signal Beam, Shadow Sneak, Phantom Force, Shadow Claw, Teleport, Kinesis, Beak Blast, Rapid Spin when pokemon is levitating.
Zen Fang(if breaks screens then ice too when the fangs come out).

Moves that generate energy or liquid out of the whole body like Aqua Jet should be considered too.

Earth Power, Water Pledge , Grass Pledge are moves that come from the ground that means they could actually free the users or at least hit the oponent.

Scald is too overpowered, so I think it deserves to be nerfed and have a 20% chance to burn the target.
Stealth Rock should be absorbed by Rock-type Pokemon switching in, just like Poison-types absorb Toxic Spikes.
Focus Blast should have 100 base power and 90% accuracy.

Agree with most of what you said. Mostly though, opponent is spelled with 2 Ps. OPPONENT. Just thought I'd let you know.

The signature moves of our ghos/grass Kalos pokemon. Forrest curse and the other one should work diffrently on grass and ghost types that already are ones. Stealing hp or something. Not only adding the type itself. This way their use would be better.

I think it would be more interesting if it would negate their respective typings. So Roserade would become a Poison type under forest Curse. It feels more fitting and would make for an interesting effect. As for mons with only one type? They could become true neutral. No STAB, no weaknesses or immunities

Well, the problem is that they removed the closest thing to true neutral, which was the ???-Type. Now if you somehow lose your type, you will turn into Normal-Type.

Razor Wind needs to be actually useful. I'm not even bothered that its not Flying-type, but waiting two turns for an 80 damage move is lame, even if it has a +1 crit ratio. It should be +3 at least.
