Movies/TV Movie Box Office, Releases, and Discussion

Watched it yesterday. I liked it a lot, although there were a few scenes that were somewhat gory and the plot needs some willing suspension of disbelief.

Doctor Strange (2016)
Plot: Brilliant, but arrogant, Dr. Stephen Strange is talented, but is willing to bend in order to make more money. An accident leaves his hands injured - and accident he never truly recovers from. After bottoming out - he hears about an Ancient One - a supposed sorcerer who may be able to finally give him back his life. But once he finds him, he finds the plans for him are much grander.

Hacksaw Ridge
Plot: Army Medic Desmond T. Doss served during WWII, notably in the battle of Okinawa. Heroically, he saved the lives of at least 75 men (with many there saying he saved many more) but, despite being in the army, he also refused to kill any of the enemy. His deeds were recognized and he was awarded the Medal of Honor, becoming the first Conscientious Objector in history to have that distinction.

Trolls (2016)
Plot: Most Trolls are spend their days in optimism - with a smile on their face and a song on their lips. Their biggest problem is the criminally unhappy Bergens - who only seem to get happy when they have Troll for dinner. When several Trolls are captured, the Troll princess, along with one of the few grump Trolls, will join forces to rescue their friends before they become a happy meal.
