The Fate of the Furious
Plot: The crew has gone their separate ways. Even though Dom has seemingly found a sense of normalcy with Letty, he is seduced by a beautiful woman and enters back in to a life of crime, and, in turn, betraying those closest to him. The most dangerous mission yet - from Cuba to New York to the arctic Barents Sea, is not just to prevent catastrophe, but to bring a man back home who has lost his way.

Gifted
Plot: Frank Adler wants nothing more than a normal life for his niece, Mary, who happens to be a child prodigy. But his efforts may be spoiled when the talents of the young girl come to the attentions of his domineering mother, Evelyn, who has much different plans in mind for the young girl. A custody battle ensues that will determine her future.

Smurfs did better than i thought.

It really did, I think maybe cause unlike the last two Smurfs movies the animation was closer to what they actually looked like in the cartoon series, whereas the ones before this movie they looked more uncanny. Plus being a mix of live action and (imo terrible) animation didn't help the previous two movies. This movie is definitely on my "to see" list.

Anyway, The Fate of the Furious looks pretty good as well, I do like the Fast and Furious movies so I hope this one will be just as good!

10 Kong: Skull Island $2,670,000.00

Wow, people really love Fast and the furious. Having a non-fantasy top franchise is refreshing, I guess...

I'm glad The Boss Baby is doing well. It's resembling of old Dreamworks, movies where both adults and children can have fun. I'll check it out when it comes to TV or Netflix. I hope it outgrosses Frozen Trolls.

The Smurfs had a small budget, but also a very high marketing budget, so it has to make more money.

So glad Fate of the Furious is doing well! Still want to see it along with Smurfs The Lost Village. I heard Beauty and the Beast is good, I really like the animated movie but I'm on the fence of the live action version, I just want Disney to go back to traditional animation again but I guess they won't anymore. They seem bent on remaking their animated movies into live action, which honestly makes me sad.

As for the movies coming out this Friday, I'll pass. None of them interest me.
