Movies/TV Movie Box Office, Releases, and Discussion

Haven't heard of Playmobil: The Movie though, just looked it up and I'm kinda iffy on it. I guess it's based on a toyline of the same name, which I've also never heard of. Maybe I'll catch this one on TV if there's nothing else to watch.

Playmobil has been around for AGES, they’re sorta like a non-brick based lego competitor. I think nowadays any toy company like that really needs movie or tv tie ins, which... man, MIXED feelings. I don’t want everything kids consume to be so cookie cutter and lab creator, but I remember being a kid and WANTING tie ins like that.

Enjoy Frozen 2, it is a MIXED bag. I walked out hating the first half and LOVING the second, then watched a youtube review loving the first half and saying the second was real iffy.

Frozen II was pretty good, I can see why some thought it to be a mixed bag, I do prefer the first movie even though I still really enjoyed this one.

I want to see Richard Jewell since Clint Eastwood directs it and I really like him anyway, so I'm gonna see if I can see it tomorrow or Saturday. The new Jumanji movie looks good as well, so I'll try and catch that one too.

So I got back from Las Vegas with a friend yesterday and I saw two movies, one on Friday and one on Saturday. Saw Like A Boss with my friend on Friday night and I didn't really enjoy it, though I did enjoy Billy Porter's and Jennifer Coolidge's roles as I thought they were the funniest in the movie, especially when Porter's character did that dramatic walkout of the restaurant after he was fired. And on Saturday I finally saw Knives Out (by myself though, my friend wasn't interested in it), and it was great. It kind of reminds me of a modern, and slightly more serious, Clue.
