Mudkip to be featured in the second Pokémon GO Community Day Classic on April 10th

Niantic has announced that the second Pokémon GO Community Day Classic event will feature Mudkip. During this event, Mudkip will be appearing more frequently in the wild, and its Shiny variant can also be encountered. The event will be held on April 10th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

Marshtomp that are evolved into Swampert from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time on that day will learn the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. This move has 80 power in Trainer Battles and 90 power in Gyms and in raids.

The following event bonuses will also be active throughout the event:

• 3× Catch XP
• Incense activated during the event will last for three hours
• Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
• Take a few snapshots during Community Day Classic for a surprise

A Mudkip Community Day Classic–exclusive Special Research story will be available for purchase at US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). A bundle containing 30 Ultra Balls will be available in the shop at no cost. A special one-time-purchase Community Day Box will also be made available for 850 PokéCoins, featuring 15 Ultra Balls, 15 Pinap Berries, 1 Elite Fast TM, and 1 Remote Raid Pass.
