Also I think it’s fair to say I have developed a style now, mostly involving Kirby feet. Fully aware of the lack of detail but I felt people would appreciate the cuteness

This one I think turned out good. I know what works for me I was inspired by a post in the “ideas for future gens” involving support Pokemon, and even though it’s essentially the Minicons from the Transformers franchise, it’d be a fun way to bring the babies into competitive somehow. Hence…

Regional Variance Time!

Spoiler: Regional Form Starters

So I thought it’d be fun to make a starter group of regional forms, and all the pseudo legends are easy to work with because they’re three stages. In this case we got a Grass-type Dratini, Fire-type Beldum and Water-type Gible. The Beldum turned out different than I expected but I kinda like the “Eye of Sauron” feel it gives off. If anyone wants to make a region based off Middle Earth, that would be awesome - I don’t know enough about the mythos to pull it off.

Following that idea though, Dratini would ultimately evolve into a Grass/Fairy Dragonite that loses the wings and gains a beard and staff a la Gandalf. Metagross would become a Fire/Steel fiery furnace, and Garchomp would be Water/Fighting and taken back to its shark roots (no idea if there are sharks in the Tolkienverse, but would just be cool though I know I’m not the first to think this).

Through sheer coincidence, the topping of this waffle looked eerily similar to Kirby’s arms and legs, so I completed the thought.
