My lost attempt at an Emerald nuzlocke here

Today I had a free period and was watching a nuzlocke video so I decided that I wanted to try one myself. I told my friend and he said he knew a site that had some games. I looked at it and decided to pick Emerald.

I named myself WALLY for some reason. After the introduction, I decided to pick Treecko because I never pick Grass types. I named it Joseph because , but that turned out to be a mistake because now whenever I send him out, I get Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat stuck in my head. So that begins...

Contrainer's Attempt at a Pokemon Emerald Nuzlocke​

The ground rules were loose: you faint, you die; only the 1st mon in each area (excluding gifts, Eggs, and before getting the first Pokeballs); and nicknaming everyone. No no-PokeCenter nonsense. My journey began!

After kicking the butts of the Zigzagoon and May's Torchic, I was ready for Pokeballs, but it took a while to navigate. When I did, I looked in Route 101 first and caught a male Wurmple, who I named LAMP, irrationally hoping for a Dustox. On 102, I was set to catch a Wingull, but Joseph critted it with Pound instead. I battled a few trainers before getting my Route 103 pokemon, a female level 3 Wurmple to match my male level 3 Wurmple, so I named her PMAL. Then some more stuff happened.

I updated my laptop last night and it turns out the game didn't save properly.
