Mythical Pokémon (datamine spoilers)

On the topic of Marshadow, do you think it's story will be played out in Sun & Moon, a second set of gen 7 games or will we only see what it's about in gen 8? (like with Zygarde)

I think that it is a mythical, so it won't get that much focus in any game. A Sinjoh Ruins-like event is the most we should expect.

It is also very likely to be distributed next year, so I don't see it having anything to do with the next generation. If they release new Generation VII games by the end of 2017, they could give Marshadow an in-game event there to change its form and explain the lore. For Diancie and Hoopa, though, they just changed their forms and gave Hoopa minor exposition.

Yeah, we are not getting another mythical pokemon in a game like Deoxys. Marshadow would be downloadable only.
