It's gonna be a good year!
Hopefully the GameStop events will also be international in some way, would be a little disappointing if I couldn't get them 'cause I live in Australia... That said, they've been pretty good with making sure we get the events at some point, so I'm optimistic. :) Great job, Nintendo/Pokemon Company!

Now when you say "Nintendo Network", that means I just open my 3DS, turn on the game and download the gift from home, right?

Yes, it is confirmed that the US GameStop Mythical Pokemon will be available in Europe too (so Australia is pretty guaranteed to get them as well).

That is correct. "Nintendo Network" is the successor to "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection". To get them, you just use the "Get Via Internet" option in Mystery Gift, from home.

I'm going to go for tentative HURRAH here. Manaphy, Arceus, Keldeo, Meloetta ... my National Dex will be finished by the end of the year, assuming it really does come to Europe

I don't understand why these aren't all distributed by the Nintendo Network, but I'll be glad to pick up all the event pokemon I'm missing.

Now THIS is how distributions should be done. Just turn on your console, load up the game, and download the goodies. Now I can get doubles of the event Mons I only have one of, like Shamin and Darkrai. This is gonna be a good year.

Okay, big plan: get to GameStop an hour before they open on Feb. 1 so I can get Mew.

I think that is pretty cool that they releasing all those events. Too bad New Zealand won't get it but that is life.

Australia is already known to be getting them, and most of them are Nintendo Network (online) anyway. Chances are the code events will also be available in New Zealand somehow too.

It does look like Ninty is learning that regional and store exclusive events suck for a lot of people. Plus one to them for that.

Wait, has there been actual confirmation that Australia is getting the in-store event codes, the ones that the US is getting via GameStop? Where was this confirmed...? The Pokémon20 official website doesn't mention much, just "check back later", unless you pick "United States" in the country selector...

PokeCollection confirmed it in the comments here. Actually, they confirmed it for both Australia and New Zealand, not just Australia.
