Name a trainer that you'd hate to lose to in the anime

For me, every single CotD and minor characters, and all the anime main characters, villains and rivals.

The only one I can withstand to lose will merely be the Champions (Note: the game champion characters, not the anime original characters that wins the regional league of each saga), the Elite Four, and some of the truly skilled Gym Leaders.

Well, that basically means 99% of the anime characters. Really!!! Man! Because 99% of these characters seldom or even never trained their Pokemons. Even if there are ones who had trained their Pokemon, they seldom or even never had good battle tactic minds that can think up any creative strategies that makes battle interesting and competitive, and gives oneself an advantage. Well, half of it is due to the anime graphics, but still, 99% of the battles are badly executed, from creative story writing PoV, in-game mechanic adaption PoV, anime-original PoV, realistic PoV, even the physical dynamic PoV!

If I am a trainer in the anime canon Pokemon World, I had enough confident that I'll come up with much more effective and creative strategies that will always puts me in advantage. I never ever instruct my Pokemon with such stupid commands like "Attack! Attack!! Attack!!!", "I'm trusting you, pal.", "Dodge! Good!! Now attack!", nor just directly command the Pokemon with the simple "**insert Pokemon name**, use **insert move name**!!".

Paul and Trip because they're complete jerks. Atleast until near the end of that particular journey, and Ash and Team rocket because I'd simply be pissed as hell to lose to such annoying people.

#1 would have to be Team Rocket as they barely win anything & would make me consider quitting being a trainer (unless they didn't take my Pokemon first). Brock is not even a trainer anymore, I never seen Cameron but losing to him in a handicap battle on national television would be very embarrassing, I'm not a fan of coordinators, Barry's annoying, & Ash's deus ex machina moments would piss me the hell off like CM Punk's reaction to losing to The Rock at the Royal Rumble.

Honorable mention: Trip (if I'm a veteran trainer).

I'd hate to lose against trainers who either mistreat their Pokemon
or have a mindset that dismisses the bond between trainer and Pokemon as a vital factor for for winning battles. Moreso, I'd hate to lose to trainers who haven't at least made an effort to bond with their Pokemon.

In short, trainer's who focus soley on power and strategies to win I'd hate to lose to. Though there is nothing wrong with power and strategy. In fact power that is forged by the bond between trainer and pokemon and strategies only made sucessful due to the bond between trainer and pokemon are what I would like to see from my opponents should they beat me.

1. TR

Anybody who loses against these fools deserves to get poke jacked.

2. Cameron

I would literally commit suicide -_-....

3. Tobias

I would Focus Punch his Darkrai to the moon with Infernape and watch his smug face be stunned.

4. Trip

I mean he only has 1 good pokemon.

5. Dawn

She pretty much can't do anything without Mamoswine or Togekiss.

6. Iris

I mean you take out Dragonite and Excadrill and you're home free.

7. Burgundy

I mean could you imagine, oh the embarrassment!!

Ya, that's pretty much it.

This is how I see it
Ash:Ok
Misty:Maybe
Brock:Meh
Gray:That cool
May:Not bad
Max:Isn't a trainer has far has I know
Dawn:Whatever
Iris:Still whatever
Cilan:I would ask him to make me something to eat because where cool like that
X and Y Girl:Too easy to beat
Clemont:I would be happy to lose to him
Rivals
Cameron:I would Hi-5 him
Paul:He's fine
Bicana:Hug her
Trip:He would take a picture
Drew:Give him a rose
Team Rocket:They cheated most likely
Aqua and Magma-Also cheated
Galactic-They most likely would bum rush me.
Plasma-Same thing with Galactic
Others:Don't care.
So am I the only one who doesn't give a carp about losing?
P.S-BW Ash IS Ash.

I’d HATE to lose to the following:

-Ash (all regions except Kalos)
I’d be tempted to slam my head into the nearest steel type if his Pikachu beats my lightning rod Raichu. I really cannot think of a way his Pikachu wins against my Raichu.
As for the rest of his Pokémon I don’t think I’ll have any issues handling them.

- Any character from best wishes

- Kiawe and Mallow.
As a fellow Fire type specialist I’d hate to lose to such a weak Fire trainer and due to my strong Fire types it’d be the ultimate insult to lose to Mallow.

- TRio for obvious reasons.

- If Samurai manages to beat me I’ll take that as a signal that the universe hates me.

- Probably most of the traveling companions.

I feel It’d be an insult to lose to probably 99% of the anime trainers. The only one I feel I’d have decent trouble with is Cynthia (her Garchomp specifically) since majority of my Pokémon are ill equipped to deal with such a type combo.

Against the rest of them I’m winning no question.

1) S&M characters
2) Team Skull
3) Alain
4) Trip
5) Ash except Sinnoh Ash

There's a few, but I think the worst scenario would be Cameron.

To make it clear: I don't hate him. He's a friendly guy and I do like that part of his character so I would at least try to be a good sport about the result, but inside, I'd be really upset to have lost against someone so unbelievably dense.

That's because I envision myself as the sort who avidly learned as much as possible about Pokémon to make up for a late start. It's exactly what I am as a fan. I lost interest in Gen I when I was young, stopped playing for years, and the main Pokémon series only became such a big part of my life during Gen IV despite me being 24 now. For a while I felt like I really needed to catch up on everything that I missed so I pounded those books to hell and back. Because of all that, a loss to Cameron would make me feel as though I'd wasted my time.

Assuming this isn't a major loss like in a league conference or other organised tournament, I believe I could have it in me to bounce back from the disaster though. One inconsequential loss? That's ok. No point getting too unfettered over one strange slip up on some Unovan route, right?
