"I went to the doctor and got an ultrasound," Rose replied with happiness in her voice, "Though it was too early to find a heartbeat, he showed me three babies. Though the doctor thinks there could be more babies than just three."
"Yup," Alice agreed with Jared's statement as she looked at the Nekomata.
"Yes," Rose replied softly, "Which is why I want to get started early so everything will be ready when it's time. I've already started making plans with a midwife, so we'll need to get a place ready for me to give birth."
Alice gasped as Jared kissed her. She blushed deeply before breaking the kiss.
"Less stress on me and the babies," Rose explained, "Plus, it's a lot calmer, quieter and peaceful this way. Normally, babies aren't supposed to cry immediately after being born, but it always happens when they're stressing out and scared. That's why it happens in hospitals all of the time. I don't want to put the babies under stress and have them frightened. I also think that having the babies at home will be much more meaningful...to me anyways." she grabbed Alistair's hand and placed it softly on her stomach. "Our babies..."
"N-no, it's fine," Alice stuttered nervously, "It just caught me off-guard."
Dirk sighed. "I don't think you want to know." He muttered. "But since I care about you I will." He took a deep breath. "As you know I'm an orphan. No memory of my parents. Daph was in the orphanage with me. She's basically my kid sister." He smiled a bit. "I hated the orphanage." He explained. "At nine I ran away and dragged her with me." He sighed. "To keep us alive... I'm not exactly a saint." He didn't elaborate.
"Oh, well that makes sense" Kathany said still blushing a little. She gently poked Naomi "Hey wake up, you still want ice cream don't you?" Kathany asked.
"I am not so sure you should be poking, Noah's her brother so that would be fine, but who knows what she might do if you do it" Amber suggested.
"That I did." Dirk said softly. "You have to understand... Daphne was the only person in the world that I had. I had to take her with me when I left that orphanage. I had to promise her shed be safe and fed and okay... I had to do whatever it took to keep that promise."
"Yes." Naomi nodded her head, suddenly coming to. "Let's go."
Jared smiled at her and began walking after Kuroki. He was able to notice something as he walked alongside Alice though, he could see a couple of robed men on some of the corners of the buildings they passed but the thing that jumped out at him the most was the symbol on their robes, a golden colored dragon head. Jared frowned a little but tried to not get Alice to notice.
