Nemona & Pawmot make their Pokémon Masters EX debut as the first Sprint Role Sync Pair, alongside launch of new We Should Battle! Story Event

The Pokémon Presents video presentation today has announced two new Sync Pairs which will be making their Pokémon Masters EX debut over the coming weeks. Each of these pairs will also debut a brand new Sync Pair Role. Nemona, the Champion-rank Trainer from Paldea, is making their Pokémon Masters EX debut today in as a Sprint Role sync pair together with their partner Pawmot. Launching alongside them is a brand new story event, We Should Battle!, which serves as the pair's introduction to Pasio. Victor & Spectrier will make their own debut as a Field Role Sync Pair next week from August 16th.

Nemona & Pawmot Poké Fair Scout

Nemona & Pawmot are making their Pokémon Masters EX Debut in a limited-time Poké Fair Scout, which will run through to August 27th at 10:59pm (PDT). This fair-exclusive pair are being released with an expanded sync grid, as well as the ability to be raised to 6★ EX. Raising the pair to 6★ changes the design of Nemona's outfit to an design based on Pawmot's palette. More information on this sync pair can be found on Bulbapedia.

Nemona & Pawmot are the first sync pair with the new Sprint Role. Sync Pairs with this role are able to reduce their Sync Move countdown by three the first time they use their sync move, allowing them to rapidly put out a series of strong attacks. Move Candy Coins and Move Candy specific to this role have been added to the game along with Nemona. Sprint Drills are also also now available in the Training Area, awarding items to unlock level caps and strengthen Sync Pairs with this role.

Training Area Reward Boost Rally
Alongside the launch of the new Sprint Role this week, and the new Field Role next week, Pokémon Masters EX is holding a Training Area Reward Boost Rally, awarding Trainers extra rewards for completing the various Training area stages. Until August 23rd at 10:59pm (PDT), the following areas will each award x1.5 Completion Rewards and Battle Rewards over the period of the Rally:
  • Level Up Area
  • Cap Unlock Area
  • Cap Unlock Area 2
  • Theme Skill Area
To use the Training Area, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.

Story Event: We Should Battle!

In this new story event, Nemona arrives on Pasio and immediately starts doing what she does best - challenging strong trainers to Pokémon Battles! This event will run through to August 27th at 10:59pm (PDT).

By completing battles during this event, players can earn Event Voucher B items, which can be exchanged for a variety of valuable items including 5★ Scout Tickets, 5★ Power-Ups, Custom Sync Orbs for Nemona & Pawmot, and various new items for improving Sprint Role Sync Pairs, including the new Sprint Move Candy Coin, and varieties of Sprint Soda. Players can also obtain Gems and Event Medals for completing special missions during the event.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:
These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Nemona & Pawmot, Hilda & Tepig, and Hilbert & Oshawott would grant a combined +140% (x2.4) rewards.

Log-in Bonus
This event includes a log-in bonus over 14 days. Players can receive these bonuses up until August 27th at 10:59pm (PDT), so even if you're a couple of days late starting the event you'll still have the chance to receive all of the available gifts.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:
  • The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 11:00pm (PDT).
  • To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
  • The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
  • All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
  • Leftover Event Voucher B items will be automatically converted to coins at a rate of 10 coins per item at the end of the event, and sent to players' Present Boxes
Event Gem Specials
In conjunction with the We Should Battle! event, the following four Event Gem Specials will be available in the purchase gems tab of the in-game shop until August 27th, at 10:59pm (PDT), offering discounted prices on paid gems.
