Contest NEW Contest Hall Rules! [Updated 8/8/17]

Hello all, in accordance with the new set of global rules, we've updated our local rules as well. Please read before posting in this section.

In addition to the rules listed below, all Global Forum Rules apply.

1. Search for a contest before posting one
-When starting a new contest, use the search feature to make sure that contest doesn't already exist
-If the contest you are trying to start does exist but has not been active for at least 3 months, you are free to start a new thread

2. Keep contests Pokémon-related
-This is General Pokémon Discussion, so this is not the place for contests not about Pokémon topics
-If you want to create a contest for other characters, shows, games, etc, feel free to visit Entertainment, Inc

3. Add a poll to all contests
-The point of a contest is to reveal a winner, which we can't do without some empirical data
-Both/Neither poll options are allowed if the creator wants to include them
-Joke options are also allowed, though you should allow voters to select multiple options in the poll if they are included

4. Have fun!
-This section is just for sharing your opinions in lighthearted discussion and debate
-Try not to get offended or argumentative if somebody disagrees with your viewpoint
