Neat concept & production values...but it looks like just a 'nutha little game to amuse younger fans and make some extra dough.
It doesn't look like a game for kids at all.

It doesn't say anything yet about the gameplay system itself. I'm more interest in that rather than the story itself (Sorry I personally have completely no affection towards hardcore detective and mystery genre).

BTW, my opinion on the opening movie: Very unbalanced compared to the moving-plastic-doll-like Pikachu.

Well this is certainly interesting. I thought this game was cancelled long ago since it was mentioned long before Gen 6 came out, but it's at least something better than the kitschy puzzle game and kiddish spin-off titles we've been getting the past 5 years or so, so the fact that we're getting something new and different for once is a breath of fresh air.

Although it's weird hearing Pikachu speak like a normal person outside of Mystery Dungeon. Heck, it was weird hearing something other than Ikue Otane's voice for Pikachu in the first PMD special (and that was about 10 years ago), since we've grown so accustom to the traditional "Pika Pika" that it feels so weird hearing something else come out of his mouth.

Though I do think that sometime they should use Pokemon other than strictly Pikachu all the time, but that's just my opinion. I will say that for once it's something different than another rehash of a reshash, so I'll give them credit for that. Not a fan of the 3D style though, but that's me.

They could have used Meowth instead of Pikachu, but that would have been too safe given the anime. Anything else? I don't see it.
