New Moves/Abilities

Wasn't there some rumor about some new moves being dual-typed? If it's true then it sounds like Geomancy may be one of them. It sounds like it could be Fairy/Ground. Or maybe it depends on the terrain.

There's a lot of earth-power-related stuff in fairytales and folklore and stuff, like ley lines and genus loci, so I think the move is trying to evoke that to some degree. I don't see why Xerneas would have a ground-type connection like that, really.

With a localized name like "Geomancy" that does sound like the case for now.

Anyone else notice that Yveltal sparkles after using Oblivion Wing kawaii. So looks like it's going to be a draining move. They really are giving us lots of those this time, huh.

I did catch that. I had assumed it was either just an aesthetic effect or a stat boosting, but it does look a lot like the draining moves now that you mention it. A 100ish power Giga Drain would be really useful.

If Oblivion Wing is a draining move, then I'm intrigued to know what Geomancy's effect is.

Def. Hoping for more abilities that evoke weather conditions. As well as a move that removes weather.

I hope that no weather actually has a boost for fairy type pokemon, like how sand storm increases Rock's sp. def. Such as an attack and special attack boost.

I also want an ability that makes moves that usually take two turns to use take only 1, i.e. fly, dig, bounce. ((Barring Focus Punch and certain others))
And hopefully at least be part flying, so it's not so much a penalty to have a flyer constantly with me.

Do you have any idea how bad entree hazards are already?

We need different types so all types of pokemon have a disadvantage to them.

Stealth Rock is bad enough by itself. I can understand wanting some kind of entry hazard that works on Flying types, but did they really need to make it have Rock's exact type interactions? Poor Charizard loses half his HP right off the bat.

One rumor claims there'll be an ability that negates entry hazards, but unless they mean something that actually removes them, Magic Guard already does that (protects against all damage not originating from an attack, including Spikes and Poison status caused by Toxic Spikes).

I don't know, I kind of want more entry hazards, like maybe type variations of Stealth Rock or something. I mainly just want there to be more type choices. Imagine an Electric entry hazard that has a chance of causing paralysis, that would be so much fun.
